This information was made public in a tweet sent out yesterday, January 11, 2023. The tweet claims that in 2022, Ckay’s sales of “Love Nwantiti” in the United States alone brought in approximately $1.6 million.
The song, which was certified platinum by the RIAA after selling over a million copies in the United States alone, was said to have made over 1.6 million dollars in the United States alone in 2022, which is the largest amount ever earned by an African artist.
