Burna Boy achieves new platinum status in the United States with “YE.”
Nigerian award-winning afro-fusion artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, known professionally as Burna Boy, has made another enormous step forward as he bags new platinum in the US with his hit song “YE.”
Burna Boy, who was named the most streamed musician in Nigeria, has surpassed a million units in sales in the United States{US} with his hit single titled “YE.”
The song was released in 2018 as one of the singles off Burna Boy’s 3rd album ‘Outside’. The single received international attention in the US after fans discovered it while searching for Kanye West’s album of the same name.

He now joins Nigerian singers CKay, Wizkid, and Tems in receiving an RIAA platinum plaque.
According to news published by reputable chart news platform Chart data, Burna Boy’s ‘YE’ is now eligible for an RIAA platinum plaque after it surpassed a million copies in sales in the US.
