Meek Mill excited after DNA testing revealed that he is half Ghanaian.
After taking an ancestral DNA test, American rapper Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, will be excited to declare his nationality as Ghanaian.
In a post on Instagram, the rapper revealed that the test he recently took showed he is part Ghanaian.
Meek Mill, who was born in Philadelphia, has roots in Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Mali, Congo and Senegal.
He shared a breakdown, saying the results showed that 21% of his lineage came from Benin and Togo, 18% from Ghana and the Ivory Coast, 18% from Nigeria, 14% from Cameroon, Congo, and West Bantu Peoples, 8% from Mali, and 5% from Senegal.

Although Benin and Togo took the highest percentage, Meek Mill circled Ghana and Ivory Coast and said it “my second home.”
This happened just one week after Meek Mill visited Ghana. The rapper who had always expressed interest in visiting the country performed at the AfroNation concert on Thursday, December 29.
