Rema’s “Calm Down” hits a new high on Youtube after hitting 300 Million views.
Rema’s ‘Calm Down‘ music video has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube, making it one of the most popular Afrobeats music videos.
The single, which served as the lead single for Rema’s debut album “Raves & Roses,” was released in March. The song has received a strong response since its release and has done well both domestically and internationally.
The song’s international success was additionally boosted by the Selena Gomez-assisted remix, which won Rema certification in France and Italy in addition to an RIAA gold plaque.
The single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 while also surpassing over a billion streams on all platforms making it one of the biggest Afrobeats songs of 2022.

Currently, “Calm Down” remains at #1 on the Billboard US Afrobeats Top Songs Chart for an consecutive seventeenth week while Rema’s “Rave & Roses” Album hits No.1 on Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart.
With ‘Calm Down‘ crossing the 300 million views mark on YouTube, it will be joining an exclusive list of Afrobeats songs that includes CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti‘ and Burna Boy’s ‘On The Low’.
The singer was recently reported to have recorded 1 Billion Career Streams on Spotify as a Lead Artist.
