Mercy Chinwo congratulates Lionel Messi on his World Cup success.
The newly crowned world champion, Lionel Messi, has received a congratulatory message from Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo.
Chinwo used her social media account to congratulate the Argentine footballer on his success in the 2022 World Cup Final.
Remember that Messi won the World Cup after Argentina defeated France on penalties, claiming victory for the first time since 1986.
In a message shared on her official Instagram page, the gospel minister praised Messi and said he is extremely blessed.
She wrote, “Messi Mercy is blessed oh. It is a season of back to back CONGRATULATIONS for you and yours.
“Congratulations Messi Chukwu @leomessi aka THEGOAT, we love you.”

The PSG superstar also won the Golden Ball award after being named the competition’s top player.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi’s first Instagram post after winning the World Cup has become the most-liked image in the social media platform’s history.
The Argentine entered this World Cup knowing it would probably be his final opportunity to win the highest award in football.

The striker scored seven goals, including two in the championship game, to help Argentina win in a spectacular manner, cementing his status as the game’s all-time greatest player.
Messi’s victory was applauded by football fans around the world, not only in Argentina, who were happy to see him finally win a world title.
That was extremely clear in his Instagram post, which has since surpassed the 53 million likes of the infamous world record egg picture in terms of the number of likes.
“I dreamt it so many times, I wanted it so much that I still can’t believe it,” Messi said in his post.
