Singer Davido all smiles in Qatar, ahead of his closing ceremony performance
Afrobeats superstar Davido has landed in Qatar ahead of his participation at the FIFA 2022 World Cup closing ceremony.
OBO was seen hanging out with Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian artist, and George Boateng, the assistant coach for the Black Stars.
This will be Davido’s second public appearance since the devastating death of his beloved son, Ifeanyi, in October.
The football tournament’s closing ceremony on Sunday will be his first performance since the tragic incident that caused him to disappear from public view.

Chinese billionaire Stephen Hung initially revealed the DMW CEO’ World Cup appearance on Thursday, December 8 through his Instagram account.
He stated that the musician had assured him that he would perform at the World Cup closing ceremony.
Stephen Hung expressed his eagerness to visit him and remarked that he can not wait to see him.
“So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there”.
Days later, affirming the 63-year-old Chinese billionaire, Chief Priest also with great excitement said his bestie (Davido) will be coming for the closing ceremony.
Taking to his Instagram page, Cubana expressed excitement at his performance.
“FIFA World Cup 2022. Am so excited for Africa. Bestie Mi @davido FIFA Boy.
OBO is coming. Joy is coming. It’s Time 4 Africa”.
