Burna Boy, Tems, Drake, Others Make Jay-Z’s 2022 Year End Picks
Burna Boy, Tems, Drake, and other artists have been named by Shawn Corey Carter, better known as Jay Z , as the performers who dropped his favourite songs in 2022.
The businessman and music executive, who owns 20% of the streaming service Tidal, created a playlist of his top songs for the year 2022 on the same platform.
It features hits like “Last Last” by Burna Boy, “Wait For U” by Future ft. Tems and Drake, “N95” by Kendrick Lamar, and other songs, as well as hits like “Wait For U” and other songs.
The 41-song playlist features tracks from Lil Uzi Vert, Bad Bunny, Rosalía, Beyoncé, Drake ft. 21 Savage, Benny The Butcher ft. J. Cole, SZA, Metro Boomin ft. 21 Savage and Young Nudy, Lil Yachty, Vince Staples, Lil Baby, Gunna ft. Future and Young Thug, GloRilla ft. Cardi B, Nas, Pusha T, Quavo and Takeoff, Ab-Soul ft. Zacari, and more.
The playlist was uploaded to TIDAL and has a picture of a sofa wrapped in plastic, possibly a reference to Beyoncé’s song “Plastic Off the Sofa” from her album Renaissance.

Jay Z included two tracks on which he appeared: ‘Neck & Wrist’ by Pusha T and Pharrell and ‘God Did’ by DJ Khaled, which included Fridayy, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and John Legend.
Kendrick Lamar’s ‘N95‘ and ‘Savior‘ appear, as do Drake and 21 Savage’s ‘Rich Flex,’ ‘Jimmy Cooks,’ and ‘Major Distribution‘.
SZA’s ‘SOS’ and ‘Shirt,’ Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last,’ Snoh Alegra’s ‘DO 4 LOVE,’ Future’s ‘PUFFIN ON ZOOTIEZ,’ and GloRilla and Cardi B’s ‘Tomorrow 2’ are among the other tracks featured.
