    Unquestionably, Cassper Nyovest’s #FillUpMmabatho performance was a celebration of culture and a remarkable effort to raise and empower the community; however, whether the event was a success is another story.

    It appears that this year’s #FillUp concert was unsuccessful after his successful performances in The Dome in 2015, Orlando Stadium in 2016, FNB Stadium in 2017, Moses Mabhida Stadium in 2018, and Royal Bafokeng Stadium in 2019.

    Speaking with Cassper before the concert revealed that he and his team are “always building for the Cassper moment,” but if performing on the stands was “that moment” for them, there wasn’t much to be excited about.

    We were not ignoring how the concert’s pivotal moments were stolen from the audience by the unnamed sound engineers.

    A good example is when Musa Keys’ microphone was cut off while he was performing; the pause in action felt endless. Additionally, Cassper’s performances occasionally featured a screeching microphone.

    Aside from those difficulties, Cassper’s tributes to his late pals DJ Sumbody and Riky Rick as well as the choir addition were the show’s highlights. Oh, and don’t forget the fireworks for the memorable conclusion!
