Declan Rice provides an update on West Ham’s future.
England midfielder Declan Rice has provided an update on his future at West Ham football club but confirmed that he wants to leave the club, saying that he wants to play in and win the UEFA Champions League.
Rice has long been one of the Premier League’s top midfield performers, and it is commonly believed that he will leave West Ham for one of the top English teams.
Although he was heavily linked to Manchester United and Chelsea in the summer, many believed he would stay put.

It now seems all but certain though that, once the opportunity arises, he’ll bid farewell to West Ham after admitting to the press in Qatar that he wants to compete for the Champions League like his England teammates.
“I see my friends here, who are playing Champions League, winning the big trophies,” he said.
“You only get one career. At the end of your career, you want to look back at what you’ve won and the biggest games you’ve played in.
“I’m really ambitious, and I really want to do that.'”
With West Ham sitting 16th in the Premier League and in no position to make the Champions League, his departure looks all but guaranteed. The good news for the club is that Rice’s outstanding World Cup performances for England should at least enable them to demand a hefty fee for his services.
If he were to move on, Chelsea currently seems like the most likely option, however, Man Utd and Liverpool are also interested in the midfielder.
