Real Madrid makes decision as Cristiano Ronaldo plots return.
Real Madrid have decided not to make a move for Cristiano Ronaldo despite the Portuguese eyeing a reunion with the Spanish giants, according to reports.
After severing his relationship with Manchester United during his shocking interview with Piers Morgan, the veteran now appears to be departing the club in January.
Ronaldo had already requested a transfer during the summer transfer window before alleging that United had “betrayed” him.
The Manchester club has already begun the process of terminating the remaining two years of the two-year deal he signed when he left Juventus in Italy.
With teams like Chelsea, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid all rumoured to be interested in hiring him, his future is currently uncertain. The striker has reportedly offered his services to his former club Real Madrid, according to the Spanish publication SPORT.
Karim Benzema’s injury-related demise, which ended his chances of playing at the World Cup, may have made Ronaldo an emergency option in January.

Ronaldo’s move from Old Trafford is apparently being negotiated by super agent Jorge Mendes, although things might get complicated given Real’s position.
The Spanish team is not anticipated to make a move for the Portuguese or any striker during the winter transfer window, according to Marca. For Ronaldo, who is considering a reunion with his previous squad, such revelation will be detrimental.
He now holds the club record for goals scored with 450 in 438 games played while he was a player at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish team won four Champions League titles, two LaLiga championships, and other awards thanks in large part to their record.
Speaking in 2017 after leading the team to the Club World Cup, Ronaldo declared he was considering retiring with Real. I would really like to, but things don’t depend on mehe replied: “I would really like to, but things don’t depend on me. What depends on me is what I do on the pitch.
Only a few months after making that statement, Ronaldo left Real and signed a lucrative contract with Juventus. Despite just spending three years in Turin, he managed to add two trophies to his collection of European titles.
He was permitted to rejoin Manchester United in 2021 and had a productive debut season, scoring 24 goals across all competitions, but things have very rapidly turned worse.
