Ifeanyi Adeleke: Davido receives condolences from Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill
Davido and Chioma have received a message from rappers, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill who respectively expressed their sympathies following the passing of their three-year-old son Ifeanyi.
Nicki’s note of sympathy was sent just a few days after the news of Davido and Chioma’s son’s passing reached the general public.
According to reports, Ifeanyi drowned on November 1, 2022, in his father’s house at Banana Island. The infant boy, who had just turned three, had been left with his caregivers while his parents were away.
Ifeanyi’s death was confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command, which also reported that eight people had been brought in for interrogation in connection with it.
The rapper took to Instagram to share a photo of Ifeanyi which she captioned “My deepest condolences to Chioma & @davido during this time.”
Meek Mill also took to Twitter to share his deepest condolences.

Ifeanyi’s death was confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command, which also reported that eight people had been brought in for interrogation in connection with it.
Police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed that anyone found culpable of the child’s death after a thorough investigation would be arrested.
“It is true, the child is dead. About eight people were brought in for questioning and we are investigating the matter. Anyone found culpable in the death of the child would be arrested,” Hundeyin said.
The chef and cook have been detained in connection with his death and may remain in police custody until they are cleared by an autopsy report.
