Portable Lashes Out At Italy-Based Show Promoter For Putting His Life In Danger
In an angry tirade, Portable criticised the event organisers for booking him to perform at a show in Italy where there were allegedly gun and bottle fights.
Portable, who had been out of the nation on a European tour, arrived in Italy.
He took to Instagram to raise the alarm, stating that he was scheduled to play in Padova, Italy and that the promoter had established the time and location.
Portable reported that there were no security details posted at the performance’s venue in a video he shared on his Instagram story.
The artist insisted that he had already received payment for the performance and was waiting for the promoters to pick him up from the hotel he had checked into after arriving in Italy.
According to him, the organisers arrived late, and the fans who had come to see the event were fighting at the moment. They were firing firearms while shattering bottles.
The Zazu singer requested that the organisers not be held accountable for his decision not to perform at the event, stating that he only performs in places where money is being thrown around, not in a chaotic setting.
His words;
“I am not following you to where they are shooting guns and breaking bottles”.

He added that he will not refund the money because he came as planned and met the agreement but the Promoter did seem not to be good with the decision he made.
He also said that he had to record a video before the show’s promoters used it to harm his reputation.
