Premier League’s festive schedule has been confirmed, with Chelsea hosting Man City in January.
The full Premier League Christmas and New Year’s fixture calendar has been announced, as Chelsea will host Man City on January 5 and Liverpool vs. Leicester on December 30.
The Premier League resumes eight days’ after the conclusion of the first-ever winter World Cup with seven fixtures scheduled for December 26, while there will also be a full quota of EFL action.
On Boxing Day, Brentford will be hosting Tottenham as the Premier League will start the game after a break of over six weeks.
On December 27, Chelsea and Man United will both be in action when they host Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, respectively. On December 28, defending Premier League champion Man City will travel to Leeds.
Liverpool’s clash with Leicester City at Anfield on December 30, kick-off at 8 pm, is the first of eight games during the festive period, as Jurgen Klopp’s side continues their battle to finish inside the Champions League places.

Further live action comes from the Amex Stadium on New Year’s Eve, as Brighton host current league leaders Arsenal, kick-off at 5.30 pm, while there are two offerings to bring in 2023 as Aston Villa visit Tottenham, kick-off 2pm before Nottingham Forest entertain Chelsea, kick-off 4.30 pm, on January 1.
The following day will see Brentford take on Liverpool, while you’ll also be able to watch Arsenal take on Newcastle at the Emirates on January 3, kick-off 8pm.
To wrap up the holiday season, Chelsea will host City on January 5 and Crystal Palace and Tottenham will play at Selhurst Park on January 4. Both games will begin at 8 p.m.
