Manchester United’s Christmas and new year fixtures confirmed.
Following the release of the Premier League’s most recent set of fixture dates, the Christmas and New Year’s calendar for Manchester United has finally been confirmed.
The Red Devils’ trip to Fulham on Sunday, November 13 would be their final domestic outing for six weeks as, for the first time ever, league fixtures are being postponed to allow the World Cup to take place, in Qatar.
Eight days after the World Cup final in Doha, the Premier League begins, but United supporters will have to wait an additional day to watch their team play.
This is due to the rescheduled date of their home game against Nottingham Forest, which is Tuesday, December 27. It will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video, the same as the other games in that round. Old Trafford kickoff is scheduled for 20:00 GMT.
The last time United played on Boxing Day was in a 1-1 draw against Newcastle on December 27, 2021. Forest will make their first journey to the M16 in 24 years this year, as the East Midlands club just recently made their way back to the top division.

On Saturday, December 31, which is of course New Year’s Eve, United will play Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in their final game of 2022. Kickoff is at noon.
The match against Wolves has been rescheduled from its initial time of 15:00 GMT to 12:30 GMT and will be shown live on BT Sport.
The Black Country outfit was their first opponents of the current calendar year and United will be out for revenge having suffered a 1-0 defeat, at Old Trafford, in that game.
The next year, 2023, they will return to Old Trafford to see the match against freshly promoted Bournemouth at the Theatre of Dreams.
The match against the Cherries, who have been doing well under interim manager Gary O’Neil, has been allocated a new date and time.
It will now be played at 20:00 GMT on Tuesday 3 January, in order to protect the players’ rest periods between match rounds 18 and 19.
