Ghana, one of the founding fathers of Afrobeat, has yet again demonstrated its mettle with Natty Borax’s new single, ‘Sweetness’.
The Ghanaian sensation teams up with Chase Forever whose blend in verse is evidently solid and tenacious.
An insight into Natty’s career reveals he began his musical career at the pinnacle level by appearing at major national festivals in Ghana, including Kiddafest, Ecstasy, Fun World, and Recognize. Following this, Natty Borax was able to secure his first feature on Deeba’s ‘ahoafe hemaa’.
The single’s instant success, particularly among Ghana’s youth, led to Borax’s success in his other singles; particularly, in earning a Ghana Music Award Reggae Song of the Year nomination in 2008 for his hit song, ‘Tene Wonsa’, a poignant song and campaign to improve the living standards of orphans and street children.
