Can Joeboy still be compared to Rema and Fireboy DML?
I’ve been considering Joeboy for a while because, in the past, he was likened to people like Fireboy and Rema, we all saw how Joeboy, Fireboy, and Rema were virtually simultaneously launched into the Nigerian music scene.
These two men were compared, but Joeboy seems to have strayed from the comparison.
If you don’t think Joeboy’s most recent song, “Contour,” is a proper jam, then what about you guys?
I’ve followed Rema and Fireboy’s development; they both had big hit singles, and that’s what I think Joeboy still lacks.
Even Omah Lay entered the fray after these people had already achieved success. Young artists like Ruger, BNXN, and Ayra Starr have established careers, and I believe Joeboy, with all of his promises, should still be grouped with Fireboy and Rema.
