DJ Cuppy announces her graduation from Oxford
Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy whose real name is Florence Otedola, has revealed that she is now a graduate of the British university of Oxford.
In a Twitter post on Tuesday, the entertainer said the result of her thesis was released recently.
Cuppy stated that she was happy to have passed the thesis even though she did not receive merit or distinction.
DJ Cuppy noted that she faced a tough year at Oxford and was proud of herself that she had finally graduated. She also appreciated God in her tweet.
The DJ added that she is pleased with her accomplishment.
“Got my thesis result, which classifies my MSc degree… I didn’t get a merit or a distinction, but I passed!!! After a tough year, I can officially say I am now a graduate from @UniofOxford. And I am bloody proud of myself… To God be the glory!” she wrote.
The varsity also took to the comment section of her post to congratulate her.

The singer started her master’s programme in African studies at Oxford in October 2021.
The performer frequently talked about how difficult it was for her to learn at school.
She broke down in tears after finishing her thesis in July, saying she had considered dropping out on two occasions.
“Over the last few weeks, I’ve pushed myself so much, both mentally and physically to actually finish this degree. Truthfully, this has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life,” she had written.
“This paper alone has made me want to drop out of Oxford University twice. I’ve done something only a few can do, and I don’t need to ask for anyone’s respect or flowers – I’ve earned them! People keep asking where the party is?!”
This would be her second master’s degree as she bagged one in Music Business from New York University in 2015.
