Tems Opens Up On Working With Beyonce And Meeting Rihanna.

Talented Nigerian vocalist Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, has spoken about how she felt collaborating with American singer, Beyonce and also meeting Rihanna.
Tems has opened up on how she felt working with Beyonce on the hit song ‘Move’ off her Renaissance album and meeting Rihanna in an exclusive interview with GQ magazine.
The singer described working with Beyonce as an iconic experience that she would never forget because it was the highlight of her year (2022); she also discussed the uncertainty that surrounded the collaboration until it was officially released.

Tems, in the interview, stated:
“You’re never really sure until it comes out. And it wasn’t something that I was focused on [or] keeping track of.”
Tems did not rule out the possibility of making a music video for the song, as she also stated:
“Of course it means something to me. If someone told my five-year-old self listening to Destiny’s Child that one day you’re going to have a song with one of them, I might just be confused.”
Tems also discussed her encounter with Rihanna at the Savage X Fenty fashion show in Los Angeles, where Rihanna herself had given her some sound advice. She revealed:
“She (Rihanna) was like, ‘You need to be that bitch you know you are.’”
