The Time Davido went Jewellery shopping for his crew
In 2017, Davido reportedly spent about one million dollars to get customized “30 billion gang” gold chain necklaces for his crew members.
Davido whose 2017 song “if” had the catchphrase of ‘30 billion gang‘ also customized his own gold piece with the same inscription.
The neckpiece was done by popular American celebrity jeweller, Icebox jewellery. This massive act saw Davido have his picture on their wall for spending over a million dollars.
The time he gifted an ultimate fan a 30BG necklace worth over N7M
To appreciate those who have been rooting for him since his emergence, the singer collaborated with radio station, Beat 99.9FM, for a competition to hunt for his most loyal fan. The singer’s fans were asked to make short video presentations stating why they should be chosen as the FEM crooner’s ultimate fan.
Well, a young man identified as Dayo eventually became victorious out of many who put in attempts to be chosen as the singer’s number one fan.
Davido shared a video on his Instagram page that captured the moment he presented the emotional fan with a customized 30BG chain which is worth a lot.
In addition, Davido also noted that the young man will get the opportunity to spend a complete weekend with him.

In 2020, Davido made headlines when he showed off the custom-made diamond rings he had ordered for 3 of his crew members.
The rings have the names of 3 people engraved on it, the first being ASA (his manager) and two other loyal members, (Lati and Tycoone).
Gifted his daughter, Imade customized jewellery worth millions of naira
Davido, in 2021, flaunted the customized jewellery he got for his first child, Imade, and it was said to be worth millions of naira.
The “Jowo” hitmaker acquired the expensive necklace during his trip to the US and it had the customized inscription “Imade” as the pendant.
The piece of jewellery was specially crafted by Davido’s official jeweller, Icebox.
Gifted Right Hand Man, Black Tycoone blinding Diamond Pendant
In April, 2021, The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ acquired a necklace for one of his right-hand men, Black Tycoone. Davido shared short videos of the diamond-encrusted pendant he got for Tycoone on his Instagram.
The music star decided to take things a step further by making sure it was a customised one reflecting Tycoone’s initials.
In a short caption that accompanied the post, the DMW boss advised fans to be their brother’s keepers. He added that it was always good to show appreciation. According to the singer, he has nothing but love for Tycoone.
The moment he Gifted MC Lively A Diamond Necklace
In October 2021, Davido gifted his multimillion naira diamond ice chain to popular Comedian MC Lively (Barrister Mike).
The comedian took to his Instagram page to show how it all went.
The comedian who visited Davido jokingly said he deliberately didn’t wear a chain simply because he knows Davido is going to gift him one, and without hesitation, Davido make the joke a reality.

Gifted his Aide, Santus Diamond Chain
Earlier in 2022, reports had it that Davido gifted his aide, Santus, a diamond chain worth 30,000 US dollars which was over 12 million Nigerian Naira then.
Santus took to his Instagram page to show off the piece of jewellery and thanked the singer for the generous gift that is worth a fortune.
He shared a video of the moment Davido wore the chain on his neck and wrote, “God bless you boss, I really appreciate”.
