He previously went by the stage name Zhenoboy.
Bayanni did not appear out of thin air. Even though he was only recently activated as a MAVIN, the singer has been performing under the stage name Zhenoboy for some time.
He was rumoured to be in contract with DMW.
Prior to the revelation that Bayanni has officially signed to MAVIN Records, there were numerous reports that the singer was signed to Davido’s record label DMW.
He has covered a wide range of artists.
Prior to becoming the musician he is today, Bayanni gained notoriety by performing famous songs as covers. The vocalist has covered a variety of songs, including “Peru” by Fireboy DML and “Jowo” by Davido.
He also performed covers of Davido songs “Risky” and “Blow My Mind,” a freestyle on Reekado Banks’ “Put in Pressure,” and Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe.” The youngster has been engaging in this performance for YEARS. Some of these covers date back to 2016.

He produced original music before joining MAVIN
As I previously mentioned, Bayanni, a.k.a. Zhenoboy, has been making music for a while. In addition to the covers, the singer has published original songs including “African Beauty,” “BMW,” and others.

He used to create music in his bedroom.
Even before being signed, Bayanni did not consider his financial situation to be a barrier to his success. In his room, the child developed his music production skills.
He tweeted about it saying: “Years ago, I slept and woke up making music especially using non-typical beats that grew my diversity. My room was my mini-studio as I couldn’t afford studio sessions. I trust the process.”

Don Jazzy reached out to him three years ago.
Despite the fact that Bayanni is only now being activated, Don Jazzy was interested in him three years ago. The artist claims that Don Jazzy DMed him back in 2019 and that this is what kicked off his journey.
