The American music star surpasses Kim Kardashian as America’s richest young woman.
Barbadian singer, actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman Robyn Fenty, better known as Rihanna, has become America’s youngest self-made female billionaire.
After achieving spectacular success in music, fashion, and beauty, Rihanna has amassed a net worth of $1.4 billion, making her the youngest self-made female billionaire in America.
In effect, Rihanna, who turned 34 in February, has added another feather to her hat by deposing popular socialite Kim Kardashian, 41.
The singer has expanded her fame outside the realm of music to include a variety of fashion and beauty-related fields.

Her phenomenal financial success was first revealed in June when Rihanna was featured in Forbes’ annual list of America’s richest self-made women, on which she was ranked 21st. She is the only woman under the age of 40 to feature in the line-up.
In 2021, when she was ranked 2,674th on Forbes’ list of billionaires, Kardashian already had the distinction of the youngest self-made billionaire woman. Between October 2020 and April 2021, she grew her wealth from $780 million to $1 billion.
Four months ago, Bloomberg reported that Rihanna was in discussions with advisors about bringing her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty, public through an initial offering that would value the business at $3 billion. Now, the singer has a new financial claim to fame.
