This is why it is impossible to overlook Ice Prince’s influence on the Nigerian hip-hop scene.

The cause might be Ice Prince’s hot, fiery-cool rap style, his rapping had a lot of ing-rhymes and was contagious, and here is why his influence can’t be overlooked.

Ice Prince, a Nigerian rapper, released his first studio album, titled Everybody Loves Ice Prince (abbreviated as E.L.I.).

On October 9, 2011, Chocolate City published it. Jesse Jagz was mostly in charge of the album’s production, with help from M.I. Abaga, Wizboyy, E Kelly, Samklef, and Chopstix. Brymo, Wizkid, 2 Face Idibia, Jesse Jagz, M.I, Yung L, and more artists have collaborated on it.

Three singles “Oleku,” “Superstar,” and “Juju” supported the album. Hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, raga, Afrobeats, reggae, highlife, and soul are all combined in E.L.I.

The album “Everybody Loves Ice Prince” established Ice Prince as one of the greatest hip-hop musicians in the world. For Ice Prince, this body of work completely altered everything.

Its influence on the Hip-hop scene in Nigeria cannot be overstated.

Songs from Ice Prince like “Oleku,” “Superstar,” “Olofofo,” “Juju,” and others undoubtedly got people moving on the dance floors in the 2010s.

The first stanza was delivered angrily. As he moved in slowly, his flow would quicken and his lines would become faster.

The album is without a doubt one of Africa’s finest projects because it won numerous prizes and accolades after its debut in 2011, including The Headies’ best rap song “Oleku,”

The Headies’ best Rap Album, Ghana Music Awards Best African Act, and a slew of others.

After ten years, it is obvious from listening to the album again that it captured a moment in Nigerian hip-hop history.

The songs are constantly there to uplift the mood and inspire everyone to perform their finest dance steps, even this much longer after release.

There don’t seem to be any skips. Many fond memories are evoked by “Everyone Loves” Ice Prince.

With his never-ending run of singles from the start of his career, Ice Prince has and will continue to successfully leave his mark on music history.
