Ghanaian artiste Kwaw Kese has shared his experience being in the prison saying that he got to learn a lot while he was jailed.
Ghanaian hiplife artiste Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, known by his stage name Kwaw Kese and popularly called Abodam (craziness) has revealed that spending time in prison for possessing and smoking “weed” taught him the importance of respecting the law.
According to Kumasi-based Luv FM’s Old Sku Report, The rapper was arrested in Kumasi a few years ago after being spotted smoking marijuana.
He was detained around 2 a.m. Sunday morning at a popular open hangout called Plus 2 (Ahodwo), where he was smoking marijuana with a group of friends.
Recall, The Ghanaian hip-hop artist is well known for his hit album Abodam 2007, for which he won five awards at the 2008 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.

The musician admitted that following his arrest and imprisonment has now made him respect the laws of the country and will never do something that will place him in jail again.
He is also pushing for the decongestion of the country’s jails, as well as an improvement in their conditions.

The “Abodam” singer used the opportunity to advise his fellow artists against any vile acts that may lead them to jail or tarnish their reputation and brands.
He said
“In all, it’s the law. When the law catches you, there’s nothing you can do about it. I really respect the law. I am somebody the law has dealt with before, so, there is no way I will disrespect the law.”
