D’banj:
The relationship between Don Jazzy and Oladapo Daniel also known as D’banj can be dated close to two decades.
They both fostered one of the best music partnership in the Nigerian music industry.
Formerly known as Mo-hits records, the duo’s combination could never go wrong.
Don Jazzy was the executive producer who produced most of Dbanj‘s songs.
It is safe to say, the hit songs and those that gained D’banj awards and recognition were all produced by Don Jazzy.
However, the two split up around 2012 making it difficult for D’banj to deliver more hit bangers.

Wande Coal:
Oluwatobi Wande professionally known as Wande Coal or Black diamond is another artiste who rode to prominence through Don’s influence.
Signed into the Mo’Hits records in 2006, the singer’s musical career became a rolling stone.
He was one of the artistes to contribute to the growth of the record label before it’s collapse.
In 2008, Wande Coal released his first and only album in the record label titled Mushin 2 Mohits featuring Kayswitch and D’banj.
His popular song “Bumper2Bumper” that got everywhere rocking was part of the hit songs in the album.
Well, after the split of the Mo’hits record, he got signed into Mavin Records alongside Dr Sid and those who were formerly in Mo’hits record except D’banj, before he founded his own Black Diamond Entertainment.
However, before his departure from the Mavins, he did not release any album or hit track, but he was part of the album compilation Solar Plexus produced by Don Jazzy.
Dr Sid:
Sidney Esiri hais from Delta State but was born in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Though, being a professional dentist, the singer took the tough decision in the latter 2006 to follow his passion in music.
In 2007, he signed into Don Jazzy‘s Mo’hits record and the Mo’ Hits Allstars collective album Curriculum Vitae (CV) which was released in December 2007.
Two years later, he started recording his first studio album ‘Turning point‘ which was later released in 2010.
So far, he is one of the artistes who Don Jazzy‘s influence and master skills has made relevant till today.
His hit song Surulere featuring Don Jazzy revived his almost dying career back to life.

Tiwa Savage:
Tiwatope is a popular Nigerian songstress who can be said to be one of the best female artistes currently in Nigeria.
Her time with Don Jazzy‘s record label Mavins as Mavins first lady put her career in a the spotlight.
The mother of one had an explosive career, bagging awards upon awards, international recognition etc.
She has been featured both locally and internationally and gathered enough fan-base through her time with Mavin Records.
Don baba J really gave her the fame she deserved.

Reekado Banks:
This young singer’s rise to prominence and fame has a lot to do with his time in Mavins Records.
The ‘Rora‘ singer signed into the record in 2014, only to explode that year with his song ‘Turn it Up‘ track featuring Tiwa Savage.
He became the Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014, and won the controversial Next Rated award at The Headies 2015.
Spotlight, his debut studio album was released on 1 September 2016; it debuted at number 10 on the Billboard World Albums chart.
Banks has many hit songs to his credit including Dorobucci, Looku Looku, Ada Obi, Oluwa Ni, Catapult, Standard etc.
