    Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” and other albums we should expect before the year run out.

    5 albums to expect before the end of 2020

    2020 despite its many problems hasn’t stopped Nigerian artists from dropping their projects but we are earnestly waiting for five of our favorite albums that will be dropping soon.

    While we have had artists like Kizz Daniel, 2baba has dropped their albums this 2020 but the year won’t be complete if Wizikd, Davido, and Burna Boy don’t drop their albums before the end of the year.

    • Celia – Tiwa Savage

    Tiwa Savage

    Tiwa Savage in the month of May has announced on her Twitter page that she is working on her forthcoming album called “Celia”.

    The sensational singer recently released a new single called “Dangerous Love” in an interview in 2019 said she might release the album either in the first quarter or second quarter of the year.

    The album would be her first album since her joining International Record Label, Universal Music.

    For the album, she reportedly worked with Mayorkun, Rexxie, Naira Marley, and Wizkid.

    • YBNL  Mafia (Unconfirmed)- Olamide

    Olamide

    Olamide dropped a surprise EP called “999” in the month of February 2020 after dropping a collaborative album titled “YBNL Mafia Family”.

    It seems the king of the street is getting set to drop another album which is reportedly titled “YBNL Mafia” according to the hashtags he uses on his social media accounts.

    In a recent tweet, he disclosed that the album is 95% ready and it’s the reason for his frequent absence from social media.

    Rumor on the street is Olamide is expected to have a collaboration with American rapper, Travis Scott which might be on the album, though it’s yet to be confirmed tho we hope it happens.

    • A Better Time – Davido

    Davido

    When Davido announced he would be dropping a new album called “A Better Time”, fans were surprised as it’s not up to a year since he dropped “A Good Time” album.

    However, Davido gave a bit of insight into what to expect from the forthcoming album which includes a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and this has fans excited.

    The Album which has Speroach Beatz as its Executive Producer is expected to surpass its predecessor. The Album according to Davido was recorded in fourteen days.

    • Twice as Tall – Burna Boy

    Burna Boy had a wonderful 2019 with the release of his “African Giant” album and getting nominated for a Grammy Awards which he, unfortunately, lost to Angelique Kidjo.

    When a fan asked how he felt about losing the award in the month of March, Burna Boy revealed he felt sick at first but he was encouraged by Angelique Kidjo not to give hope and that inspired him to name his next album, “Twice as Tall”.

    He had also revealed that he would be dropping the album in July but rumors have it that he is shifting the release date to August.

    He recently released a single off the album titled “Wonderful”.

    • Made in Lagos – Wizkid

    Wizkid

    Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” is an album which is has been highly anticipated for a while. The singer who reportedly dropped his EP, “Soundman” as compensation to fans for not dropping the album.

    While fans were hoping and praying for Wizkid to reveal news on the fate of the album, he finally came through with an announcement on the list of producers and artists to be featured on the album.

    Producers include London,Blaqjerzee, P2jmuisc, Julsbaby, Sarz, KelP, Mut4.

    Artists reportedly featured on the album include H.E.R, Damian Marley, Ella Mai, Tems, Starboy Terri, Skepta, Burna Boy.
