1. Umarudeen Kayode engaging in a fight with officials at the Lagos airport (2018)
On January 11, 2018, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Davido’s crew member Umarudeen Kayode got into a brawl with airport staff after a disagreement over baggage verification went wrong.
After allegedly punching a member of the Checkpoint staff in the face, Kayode, also known as Tyconne, attracted the attention of additional security personnel, who attempted to arrest him. According to reports, he injured an Assistant Customs Comptroller when he attacked another member of the airport security team and refused to be taken into custody.
After being arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court on January 12th and charged with assault, violation of public peace, and resisting arrest, Kayode was given bail.
2. Peruzzi’s assault allegation against social media influencer Pamilerin Adegoke (2019)
Influencer Pamilerin Adegoke on social media accused Peruzzi of beating him up in 2019.
He claimed that while he was ready to depart Bayelsa for Port Harcourt following an incident, a man approached him, yanked him off a bus, and dragged him in front of Peruzzi.
Remarkably, Peruzzi apologized after admitting to slapping him in an interview. “It was wrong, but I’m still a human,” he remarked.
3. Nigerian Filmmaker, HG2 calling out Davido and his crew for hitting his head with a baseball bat (2020)
Davido and his group were accused by HG2, a Nigerian filmmaker, of hitting him in the head with a baseball bat in 2020.
The musician and the director were friends before the attack, which left the filmmaker with a scar on his skull, according to reports.
After calling the singer out and requesting that he stop acting like such a nice guy, he described how he was struck by a baseball and left with a scar on his head.
In his words, “I have scar in my head.. this boys think they can walk away with stuff.. ain’t scared of nobody…Davido and his boys”

HG2 took to Twitter to call out a group of boys who think they can get away with anything, when an inquisitive user requested he mentioned who the boys are.

4. Lati DMW slapping fan who tried taking pictures with Davido (2024)
Davido faced criticism for allowing his aide, Lati Abiola, popularly known as Lati DMW, to strike a fan who attempted to take a picture with the singer.
Lati DMW was seen attacking his boss’s fan in a viral video after the fan became enthused at seeing the singer and wanted to snap a photo with him.
The Afrobeats artist shoved away the fan who tried to convince him to appear in a video he was recording on his phone.
