Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has set social media buzzing with his latest revelation about his love life.
Following his highly publicized split from his wife, Annie Idibia, the legendary singer confirmed his romantic relationship with Edo State politician Natasha Osawaru.
Addressing growing speculation, 2Baba made it clear that Osawaru had no role in his separation from Annie. He emphasized his deep admiration for her and expressed his intention to take their relationship to the next level.
Videos of the pair spotted together in different locations had already fueled rumors, prompting 2Baba to respond in a now-deleted social media post.
In the post, he wrote: “To Whom It May Kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.”
In a video statement, he also addressed the backlash surrounding his new relationship. He criticized the spread of false narratives and defended Osawaru against accusations of being a “home wrecker.”
“I have been seeing so many things—people creating their own false narratives and spreading malicious nonsense. Yes, I posted what I posted,” he said.
Defending Osawaru, he added: “Hon. Natasha has been dragged and labeled a home breaker, but she is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman. She had nothing to do with what happened between me and Annie. Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”
His revelation has since sparked a wave of mixed reactions online, with fans and followers divided over this new chapter in 2Baba’s personal life.
