2025 Grammy Awards: Asake and Shenseea submit hit songs “MMS” and “Work Me Out” with Wizkid for consideration
Nigerian artist Asake and Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea have both submitted their high-profile collaborations with Afrobeats star Wizkid for consideration at the 2025 Grammy Awards, aiming to capitalize on the global recognition and success of their respective tracks.
The race for the 2025 Grammys is officially underway, with Nigerian and international artists submitting their projects in hopes of receiving nominations.
The 67th Grammy Awards, scheduled for Sunday, February 2, 2025, will take place live at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, celebrating the year’s best musical achievements. The first round of voting has already begun, marking the start of the annual Grammy selection process.
Asake has entered his hit track “MMS” featuring Wizkid for consideration in the Best African Music Performance category. Additionally, Asake, who is signed to Olamide’s YBNL label, has submitted his third studio album “Lungu Boy” for Global Album/Album of the Year.

Jamaican star Shenseea has also submitted her collaboration with Wizkid, “Work Me Out,” for the African Music Performance category, underscoring the track’s global appeal.
