Arsenal unveil new Invincibles-inspired 2023/24 home kit.
For the 2023–24 Premier League season, Arsenal has unveiled their new home kit, which was inspired by the illustrious Invincibles of 2003–04.
In this new jersey, designed to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the legendary season, the accomplishments of Arsene Wenger’s team—which remained undefeated throughout the whole campaign on route to winning the title—take centre stage.
The jersey has gold accents to commemorate the illustrious victory and is sewn with the Arsenal’s record of 26 victories, 12 draws, and 38 games that season.
“We’re in this together,” said Bukayo Saka at the launch of the new shirt. “The support we’ve received this season home and away, from supporters around the world and from colleagues and friends across the Arsenal family has been immense.
“Celebrating this moment together makes us excited to wear this shirt next season. It’s so powerful when we know teammates, supporters and friends are driving us on. We’re stronger when we’re moving forward, together.”
Arsenal legend Ray Parlour, part of the Invincibles, added: “Playing in that season twenty years ago, surrounded by so many wonderful players is something I will never forget, and it is great to see we are celebrating our club history by bringing out this new home shirt – something I think all the supporters will truly love.”
On Saturday, when the Arsenal Women’s team plays Aston Villa in the last WSL match of the season, supporters will get their first look at the new uniform.
The new uniform will subsequently be worn by Mikel Arteta’s team the following day when they play Wolves in the Premier League game.
In addition, the shirt will be worn in the Champions League, where the Gunners will return for the first time since 2017 after an amazing Premier League season.
