These are 10 Songs from Mp3Bullet that prove D’Banj and Don Jazzy need to work together again
Before the falling out and the lukewarm reconciliation that I still don’t totally understand, the pairing of D’ Banj the eclectic entertainer, and Don Jazzy the versatile producer always resulted in pure magic.
Michael Collins Ajereh known professionally as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer, audio engineer, record executive, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
He is the founder and the CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy was co-owner of the defunct Mo’ Hits Records record label with Dbanj.
These 10 songs are proof that we need, No, deserve – at least one more project from them, PLEASE.
1. D’Banj – Tongolo
Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo A.K.A D’banj has been a force to reckon with in the Nigerian industry ever since he came into the industry.
D’banj has been growing bigger and bigger and it is safe to say he is the biggest music star right now in Africa.
This was our introduction to the power duo, and what a stellar introduction it was.
2. D’banj – Socor
Socor is the number three track off the first album dropped by music businessman and entertainer, D’Banj.
It also features the profound ringing vocals of producer extraordinaire, Don Jazzy (who single-handedly produced the 12-track debut) on the song’s backup and adlibs.
This song is as much a jam now as it was then, writing this has gotten it stuck in my head again.
3. DBanj – Mobolowowon
It’s been 12 years since the musical sensei, D’Banj dished out the evergreen record “Mobolowowon” to Nigerian music lovers ushering in a new dawn in the music industry.
The record “Mobolowowon” was one of the lead singles off D’Banj’s debut album “No Long Thing” which was released by Mo’Hits Records in 2005 with the entire production scored by Don Jazzy.
A seriously beautiful song, that ranks among the best either of them have ever worked on.
4. D’Banj – Why Me?
D’banj is a Nigerian artiste who uses a fusion of Afrobeat and Afropop to bring his music to life and into the 21st century with breathless enthusiasm as well as a good dose of humor.
The true and very well-deserved breakout hit.
5. Dbanj – Gbono Feli Feli
“Gbono Feli Feli” is a hit track from the album “The Entertainer”, the third studio album by Nigerian Afrobeats recording artist D’banj.
Released by Mo’Hits Records, my personal favorite on the list. It’s incredibly catchy and very well produced.
6. D’Banj – Fall in Love
Off From his The Entertainer Album, We Release a brand new single titled “Fall in Love“
This is one D’Banj song that will truly tug at your heartstrings. You will feel ALL the feelings.
7. Dbanj – Scape Goat
Scape Goat by D’Banj was released in 2010 under the Mo Hits record imprint. The mega tune cut across both the young and oldies as it has a colossal element of highlife in it.
I still don’t know why I love this song as much as I do, but if I had to think of a reason, I’d have to go with its infectious beat.
8. Dbanj – Olorun Maje
“Olorun Maje” is a hit track from the album “The Entertainer”, the third studio album by Nigerian Afrobeats recording artist D’banj, released by Mo’Hits Records in 2008, produced by Don Jazzy.

9. Dbanj – Suddenly
Off 2008 released third studio album “The Entertainer” by Nigerian musician & entrepreneur, Oladapo Daniel popularly known as D’Banj comes this classic afro-pop number titled “Suddenly.”
Still, as fun to listen to as it was the first time it was released. D’Banj and Don Jazzy were really something special.
10. Dbanj – Oliver Twist
The track was first released in the United Kingdom on 11 May 2012, as the first single from DB Records’ compilation album, D’Kings Men (2013).
