Nigerian musician and Big Brother winner White Money made some extremely intriguing comments in response to a question regarding whether he would ever collaborate on a song with fellow Big Brother winner and musician Laycon.

The information was revealed when White Money was questioned on Gbagba Express if he and fellow Big Brother winner Laycon would work together on a song.

During the interview, Whitemoney was asked “Laycon, Big Brother winner dey do well musically. You sef, Big Brother winner, you dey do music. Any hope of say una go get any form of collaboration any time soon?”

In response, the musician revealed that it was very unlikely he and Laycon would be able to collaborate on a song. He further stated that they were worlds apart and there hasn’t been an opportunity for them to come together.

“No oh! If I want to answer that question honestly: no hope! Because we no dey dey the same environment,” he said.

Speaking further on the strained relationship between BBnaija housemates of different seasons, he said;

“I will not lie to you, that is just the way it is basically. There is no hatred there oh. It’s only just hard – it’s very hard now to see people that genuinely love you that came before you. It’s just the way of life. It’s just the way it is.”

When asked if there was beef between him and Laycon, White Money said;

Nigerian music artist and reality TV star Hazel Oyeze Onou, better known as White Money, has apologized to those who may have been hurt by his remarks about BBNaija women during an interview on the Nedu podcast.

It comes after backlash following his comments on OAP Nedu’s ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, where he made unflattering claims about women.

On the podcast, he disregarded the women of BBNaija, saying they joined the show for frivolous reasons and not to sell themselves for prospects outside the house.

He also said that many girls don’t want to work, but always ask him to introduce them to his rich friends. This statement and others have drawn criticism from the singer, as they are seen as “insulting” remarks about women.

The winner of BBNaija Season 6, Hazel Oyeze Onu, also known as White Money, has been granted a rare Igbo chieftaincy title, adding another feather to his crown.

The reality star claimed that on Saturday, October 29, 2022, he was given the honorary title of “Ugwu Igbo” by a group of Igbo speakers in Lagos State.

The musician announced the development on his Instagram page and included the certificate of appointment with the post. In his post, he explained that the title he was recently given signifies “the pride of Igbos.”

Nigerian Afrobeat artist Olubankole Wellington, popularly known by his stage name Banky W, has claimed that White Money, the winner of BBNaija’s “Shine Ya Eye” contest, was not signed by Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).

Banky described how he and his partner decided to switch from a record label to a media and marketing agency in 2017 during an interview with Hot FM.

The host asked if that was the reason they signed White Money.

According to Banky W, they never did; instead, they assisted him in securing an influencer deal with a corporate entity they provide services to.

He stressed the fact that EME didn’t sign WhiteMoney and that he wasn’t their artiste.

He said: “I didn’t sign White money. What we did was we helped him with an influencer deal with one of the corporate clients that we service

“So he’s an ambassador for the company. We helped signed him to market their brand. So, we didn’t sign him. He’s not our artiste.”
