“I had always said that my daughter would get the best education that I can afford. So I told him, ‘You are a citizen, file for your child.’ He agreed, and I waited and waited. Nine months passed, then years, and he still didn’t do it,” she explained.

By the time their daughter turned 18, it was already too late for him to file.

“She turned 18 and you can’t file for a child at 18. I was mad because now she’s in university and I’m paying school fees in dollars. You can’t be calling me to say you want to send $200. We could have avoided all this,” Waje added.

According to Portable, he was one of those invited but declined since the organizers intended to take advantage of him.

He stated that the Inauguration management team told him he would only receive N5 million, despite the fact that they told him the budget for artists was N10 million per head.

The Zazuu star claimed that because it enraged him, he declined the invitation, tore up the offer, and blocked the caller’s number.

Naira Marley, Waje, Brymo, Asake, Fireboy, Kcee, Timaya, BNXN, Pasuma, Tony Tetuila, and Seyi Vibes are just a few of the artists who gave performances.

Controversial Twitter influencer Daniel Regha recently discussed Grammy Award winner Tems and Mavin signee Ayra Starr in an interview, saying they are still up-and-coming artists.

Twitter influencer and contentious critic Daniel Regha recently had an appearance on BBN star Doyin’s podcast series where he discussed his opinions on the musical careers of Tems and Ayra Starr.

Influencer Regha divided artists into two categories based on their genre: emerging or established.

He further asserted that in contrast to certain singers like Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje, and Nicki Minaj, the two female artists don’t have songs that can endure for ten years and are quickly forgotten.

Regha expressed his opinion on the podcast, saying that while Tems has just achieved success, it does not make her one of the best musicians in Nigeria right now.

He made a comparison between her and Tiwa Savage, saying that even if she didn’t release any new songs for ten years, Tiwa Savage would still be in demand.

Regha attacked Ayra Starr for not being as diversified as people believe she is, claiming that, unlike Tiwa Savage, she tends to rehash her sound and doesn’t explore wider themes in her songs.

Additionally, he called one of Ayra’s tracks, Sability, “useless,” casting doubt on her viability as a musician.
