South African rapper Cassper Nyovest is commemorating the 9th anniversary of his remarkable debut album, ‘Tsholofelo.’ Originally released in 2014, the album achieved immense success, earning Gold certification within just three months and reaching Platinum status after seven months.

Named after Cassper’s sister, ‘Tsholofelo,’ which translates to “Hope,” boasts an impressive lineup of featured artists, including HHP, Okmalumkoolkat, Bucie, iFani, Riky Rick, Bass Mdlongwa, Ntukza, Kyle Deutschmann, Tshego, Anatii, Skales (credited as Young Skalez), KayGizm from Morafe, and Prokid.

In celebration of the album’s anniversary, Cassper Nyovest took to social media, sharing a touching video of himself collaborating with the late ProKid during the album’s production. He wrote, “My first studio album Tsholofelo dropped today 9 years ago. Here’s a clip of the Legendary Prokid and I in the studio with Ganja Beats making one of the songs on the best-selling South African Hip Hop album of all time.”

Even the prominent Major League DJz recognized the album’s significance, hailing it as a classic. They expressed their admiration, saying, “Bro, you change a whole generation’s life with this album… God bless us with you.”
