Iconic gospel musician Sammie Okposo has won the “International Artist of the Year” award at the just concluded SOAR Awards ceremony in Rockford, Illinois, USA.

The SOAR Awards 2022 was held on Monday, March 7th, 2022 in Rockford Illinois USA.

The Nigerian gospel veteran was also set to perform at the awards which honoured several gospel artists including William Murphy, Dorinda Clark Cole, and John Hannah.

Sammie gave a beautiful ministration of the recently released single “My Miracle.”

The SOAR Awards is presented by SOAR Radio, the first Gospel internet radio on the official Nielsen BDS National airplay panel.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Karen Clark Sheard, Kierra Sheard, Tim Bowman, Jonathan McReynolds, and others attended the ceremony, which was hosted by Todd Dulaney.

The singer took to his social media page to announce his award.

He wrote:

Ace Nigerian Gospel Singer and songwriter, Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, popularly known as Sinach is bringing an unforgettable Christmas Concert this coming December for the celebration of God’s gift to the world through the birth of His son, Jesus Christ.

The music artist took to her various social media pages to make the exciting announcement.

Sinach already has something prepared for the forthcoming festive season and so as to fuel anticipation among fans, She announced her “Christmas Concert with Sinach and friends”.

The Nigerian-born talented singer-songwriter will return to The Monarch, Lekki, Lagos, for the next event on December 12, where she just successfully hosted a 5-Day Live Concert titled “Unending Thanksgiving.”

Hillary Vincent, Project Director for GosGem concepts, explained that this event is to remind people of the true essence of Christmas beyond all of the festivities that come with the season.

He revealed this at a strategic media partnership meeting with Neita Uwaibi, a corporate communication officer for cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria info FM.

Gosgem Concepts promises an unforgettable Family Christmas Concert with the Sinach and Friends event which is scheduled to hold in Lagos on Sunday, 12th December 2021 at the prestigious Monarch Event Centre Lekki, by 3 pm.
