Bella Alubo took her Official Twitter page on the 15th of February to call out the CEO of Tinny Entertainment, Arokodare Tinny Timilehin.

She quoted a tweet she had made on the 25th of January where she wrote;

“TFJ has over 5 million streams on spotify alone. if i owe you money then take the figure out & run me my fucking cheque @smalltinny zero account statements, zero business ethics, zero conscience. wild how you really think there’s a world where you’ll get away with this.

$34,909 from 2 platforms alone off 1 project. even if you split that in half ive paid you with substantial change on it. if you don’t do the needful you’re a vile evil man & trust me i WILL make you pay in both our lifetimes”

In her new tweet she wrote;

“If you have the mind to delete the EP from Apple Music have the same mind to delete it from Spotify & everywhere else and have the same mind to run my check”

Tinny Entertainment is yet to respond to her accusations.

Samklef had some hours ago, called out Simi, Yemi Alade and Ycee for disrespecting him and refusing to work with him.

Ycee responded with an explanation as to what happened then. He laid the blame on his former record label, Tinny Entertainment for his inability to do a collaboration with Samklef.

He wrote,

I’ve been making music since 2011 OG, You reached out to me to work with your artist not with you, at the time I was under management (which we all know how they were now). You’ve made several snide remarks about this and I have ignored. Please I have mad respect for you baba

A few days after releasing his album “Ycee vs Zaheer”, the singer hosted an album listening party.

The party was graced by several friends, media personalities, and close colleagues.

Some of our favorite celebrities also turned up at the event. They include;  Davido, Maleek Berry, Juls, Eugy, Asa Asika, Bankuli and South-London emcee Ms. Banks, who is featured on the project.

This new album is set to drop on the 8th of November 2019 under his label ANBT.

However, some songs off the album were previously released by his former label ; Tinny Entertainment. 

Although this move was made without his consent, the label claimed they owned the song.

It seems that the act of record labels trying to frustrate their former artists has become a new trend.

Unfortunately, “Juice” singer, Ycee has fallen victim to this.

On the 15th of January 2019, the singer announced via Instagram that he was no longer on the label. He also announced that he would be launching his own label; ANBT ( Aint nobody badder than).

His exit was, however, a legitimate one as his contract with the company had been terminated since September 2019.

, The CEO of the label Mr. Timilehin Arokodare popularly known as “Small Tinny” however was not happy with this move.

After Ycee announced the release of his debut album,, Tinny Entertainment went on to release songs in the album without his consent.

Some of these songs were recorded while he was still in the label so they claimed it was their property.

This action of theirs is however bad business for the artist.

As of now, they have released two songs from the album; “Bossing”  in which he features Ms. Banks and “Baseline” in which he features Davido.

The label further went on to twitter and threatened to release more. Many people stood up to Ycee’s defense, and reacted to this tweet, saying it is an act of wickedness.

Commercial stuffs apart, Ycee still remains one of the hardest rappers in the game. Forget that he sings, or that Juice wasn’t a hip-hop track. The guy’s really hot, when it comes to rap. He attends the VS Class and can battle any rapper.

BUT, was he saying hardcore rappers can’t make it without singers, or the rappers who sing? That’s what it seems like.

Late night Monday, March 26 2017, the “Jagaban” rapper tweeted; “they gon get bodied by a singing nigga.” We’ll help him. “We (singing-rappers) are the ones all these hardcore rappers that don’t want to sing, to get hot. Awa noni.” That’s another way you can interpret the tweet. Or maybe he just means rappers will have to feature singers to blow. Whichever way you get it, is cool. They’re surely gon’ get bodied by a singing nigga (like Ycee).

The Tinny Entertainment act who was recently in South Africa, and has linked up with Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C is currently enjoying buzz all over with his new single “Say Bye Bye,” which features British-Ghanaian artist, Eugy. The Video recently hit 500K Views on YouTube.

Popular rapper YCEE and his record label Tinny Entertainment have revealed their relationship with Sony Music Africa has come to an end.

It was on record last year that YCEE called out the GM of Sony Music Africa, Michael Ugwu for fraud and theft. It’s clear the once publicized Sony Music Africa contract with YCEE ended on a sour note.

As responsibility demands Tinny Entertainment have made an official statement about the termination of contract on its website. According to the press release the partnership ended last December.

Tinny Entertainment signed a license and distribution deal with Sony Africa for the distribution of some of YCEE’s music globally, in the hope that SONY AFRICA would take their music to the next level.

“We would like to state officially that we terminated our contract with SONY through our lawyers, Olaniwun Ajayi LP, by a letter dated 5 December 2017. Henceforth, we are the sole owners of the copyright in any and all of our music and can exploit our music on any and every platform. We have realized that it is best to undertake the distribution of our records by ourselves, as a Record Label and that Made in Nigeria across board, is the only way to be above board.”

As a Label, we are pushing out great music this year starting with “Say Bye Bye,” “I Wish” and our YCEE and Bella Collabo EP, “Late Night Vibrations.”
