The project reflects Peruzzi’s range as both a gifted vocalist and songwriter, boasting an impressive lineup of collaborations. He links up with his DMW label boss, Davido, on two tracks, “Apala Drill” and “Perfect Situation.” The latter track also features Mayorkun and Dremo, reuniting the label family on one record.

Other standout collaborations include Zlatan and The Flowolf on El Sucio Guapo, Timaya on ANTR (A Night To Remember), and Bella Shmurda alongside Terri on Normal Person. Jeriq joins Peruzzi on Cooking Pot, Jesse Jagz showcases his lyrical prowess on Nuff Respect, while The Cavemen add their signature highlife touch to Mad Oh.

The album also highlights fresh voices, with JujuBoy and Nana Kwabena on Ecstasy, Kemuel on You, Gazo on Gazo, and Esoterica on Time Of My Life.

Titled after the Hausa word for “patience,” Sabali hints at the deliberate creative process behind the body of work.

For Peruzzi, this release comes after a long break since his last project, raising expectations that Sabali could be one of the standout Afrobeats albums of 2025.

Nigerian singer, Davido has conveyed his appreciation to his supporters for the massive turnout at his Lagos Timeless concert.

The event was staged in Onikan’s Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), and the entire state came to a halt for the musician.

Davido warmed many hearts with songs from his latest album, which included new signees and other young voices.

In an Instagram video, the father of three praised his supporters for their outpouring of love and unequalled excitement for the show.

Davido responded to his fans’ adoration by announcing his upcoming global tour.

“LAGOS LAST NIGHT YOU WERE TRULY TIMELESS! ⁣ The energy was everything we could have imagined and more.

Davido, Nigeria’s Afrobeats musician and label head, brought his “Timeless Concert” to Lagos, the city that never sleeps, two years after his “A Decade Of Davido” show.

The event, which was a much-anticipated detour from his globe tour, was hosted by the duo of actor and digital creator Mr Macaroni and actress KieKie at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).

The evening began with performances from the current crop of stars forging a niche for their sounds on an intricately built and highly lit stage.

Khaid, Majeeed, Spyro, Odumodublvck, and Starboy Terri delighted the audience with their various tunes.

Iyanya had the concertgoers singing along to his hit single “Mr Oreo.” May D and B-Red also performed their classics in front of teeming fans.

Oladips, a Nigerian street-hop artist, has given megastar Wizkid a piece of his mind regarding the Grammy winner’s remarks on rap.

In an interview with British 10 Magazine, Nigerian Grammy-winning megastar Wizkid stated that he does not listen to rap because he believes the genre is boring and dead.

In his comment, Big Wiz opined that rappers were all rapping on similar beats while delivering similar flows.

“I don’t listen to rap – that shit is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same shit, rap on the same beats and the same flows.”

African street-hop artist Oladips was not pleased with Wizkid’s remark and he directly attacked the megastar on his Instagram page.

In the video, Oladips makes fun of Wizkid’s catchphrase by calling him “Mr. She tell me say.” Additionally, he made fun of Terri’s uneventful signing to Wizkid’s Starboy record company.

While freestyling to the beat of Kanye West’s ‘Good Morning,’ Oladips asked Wizkid when last he helped a rapper before admonishing him to desist from making debasing towards rappers.

The sensational singer’s recently released project has been pulled from Apple Music, Spotify and Others.

On Friday, August 12, 2022, the musician released the deluxe edition of his sophomore EP, “In Transit,” which featured the talented singer BNXN and Rema, the prince of Afrobeats.

However, as of September 1st 2022, less than three weeks after the project went live, it has been taken down from significant sites like Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes, and Youtube.

He has performed to sold-out crowds across Africa, Europe, and America and has over 40 hits, more than 70 music awards, and four albums. His fan base now numbers more than 30 million followers across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

The idea of a selfless artiste as coined by many is to be a pillar or ladder other aspiring singers or talents spring up from.

Taking a look at some of  Big Wiz’s counterparts in the industry, the measurement has been set!

Davido for instance has assisted a couple of youngsters like Dremo, Yonda, Mayorkun, Peruzzi and more into the mainstream.

Olamide, the YBNL boss has unveiled the likes of Lil Kesh, AG Baby, Naira Marley, Fireboy DML, the street buzz, Portable, and the raving Asake into limelight.

On numerous occasions, the singer has attributed his success to the great assistance of Wizkid’s collaborations coupled with others he benefitted from.

Tems, who is famous for her hook on Wizkid’s multiple charting tune, Essence would definitely give the credit to her global stardom to Wizkid.

Duncan Mighty, this is one old legend whose season of fame was at it’s concluding part – of course, it took a Wizkid’s collaboration in 2018 with Fake Love to raise his career back. Everyone wanted to include Duncan Mighty after Big Wiz, and most people did. Duncan Mighty would have long since been forgotten if “Fake Love” had not sparked his comeback.

Tiwa Savage is another person who through Wizkid’s collaboration positioned herself in the hearts of many fans. Wizkid gave her the first hit in 2015 with the tune, ‘Bad‘.

Beyonce in like manner repositioned herself to a more continental audience through the help of Wizkid. Despite being a global force, Beyonce arguably couldn’t have reached the slums of Nigeria without a Wizkid sound. It took a Brown Skin Girl collabo to hear the slums in Lagos play and know a Beyonce song.

These are just a few whose careers or impacts into the music business has spawned into what it is today due to an affiliation with a Wizkid sound.

So, despite not being vocal about his mode of influence, the few singers Wizkid has helped can sure pass as a possession of great influence into the music business.

Remeber, it is not ‘how many’, but ‘how well’, and I believe Wizkid has shown how much of an influencer he is in the  Nigerian music business.

Starboy Terri has unannouncedly visited Shitta, Surulere in Lagos state, the previous neighbourhood of his boss, Wizkid.

Wizkid was born and raised in Shitta, and his songs reflect his upbringing, something he has never shied away from discussing.

Residents gave Terri, who is contracted to Starboy Entertainment, a warm welcome and were delighted to see him and take selfies. He, on the other hand, did not go with Big Wiz.

A few years ago the Ojuelegba crooner also paid a visit to Shitta and residents trooped out in hundreds to see him.

He was in the country after having a tour with US rapper, Future, so he used the opportunity to visit the hood he grew up.

The Baruwa Eleniyan popularly known as the “King of Surulere also welcomed him together with fans.
