Offset has unveiled a single teaser that features a posthumous verse from the late Migos member Takeoff as his new album ramps up.

Fans of the Migos should be happy to learn that Offset, Icewear Vezzo, and his late bandmate/cousin Takeoff may have a new album in the works.

Set revealed the trunk-rattling tune on his Instagram Stories earlier this week, which elicited joy from followers on social media. In the 56-second video, Vezzo and Takeoff trade bars until Offset erupts into the song with blazing lines of his own.

Set’s sophomore album has proven difficult to reach. He filed a lawsuit against Quality Control, his previous label, in August of last year to regain control of his solo projects. Later, in November, he lost his cousin Takeoff, who was shot and died in Houston, further postponing the record.

He was also involved in a fistful of skirmishes, including a verbal spat online with J. Prince and allegedly feuding with his Migos bandmate Quavo at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Offset has put out a number of one-off tracks to keep people interested in his music. He first dropped “5 4 3 2 1″ in August of last year, then “CODE” with MoneyBagg. Yo. With 89,000 album-equivalent sales, Offset’s 2019 debut album Father of 4 entered the Billboard 200’s top five.

The offering also spawned his triple-platinum single “Clout” featuring his wife, Cardi B.

On the posthumous side, this is Takeoff’s most recent release since listeners first heard The Last Rocket MC on Metro Boomin and A$AP Rocky’s Heroes and Villians hit “Feel the Fiyaaah.”

The businessman and music executive, who owns 20% of the streaming service Tidal, created a playlist of his top songs for the year 2022 on the same platform.

It features hits like “Last Last” by Burna Boy, “Wait For U” by Future ft. Tems and Drake, “N95” by Kendrick Lamar, and other songs, as well as hits like “Wait For U” and other songs.

The 41-song playlist features tracks from Lil Uzi Vert, Bad Bunny, Rosalía, Beyoncé, Drake ft. 21 Savage, Benny The Butcher ft. J. Patrick Xavier Clark, the alleged killer of TakeOff, has requested a significant decrease in bond and has vowed to live with his parents if allowed.

TMZ on Monday was able to get court records indicating that Clark in Texas submitted a motion on Monday to have his $2 million bail reduced to $100,000.

Clark’s attorney claims that even though he cannot afford the whole amount, if it were to be reduced, he would live with his parents, wear a GPS tracker, and abide by any curfews that were established.

Even though he was found with his passport and tickets to Mexico upon his arrest (though his legal team insists he was not intending to escape the country), the suspected shooter said he is willing to surrender over them and abide by any “no-contact” orders that may be issued.

Only a few days had passed after the trial judge had granted Clark’s $5,000 request to hire a private investigator when the motion was submitted.

For less than his standard rate, the private investigator will do the investigation in accordance with the terms of the contract, and the sheriff’s office will also provide him with a printer and laptop.

Friends of Clark were surprised when they learned he had been detained and accused of killing TakeOff, and they now think he is being set up, according to an article earlier this month in the Daily Beast.

“I know him. He’s not like that,” one of his friends told the publication. “I honestly feel like they got the wrong guy. He doesn’t get mad or hostile. He’s very nice and thoughtful. That’s all I have to say. I feel he is being framed.”

On November 1, TakeOff was shot and killed outside Houston’s 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley after a dispute over a dice game.

The shooting occurred after a fistfight broke out in Quavo’s defence, according to fresh information in an affidavit seen by New York Times reporter Joe Coscarelli.

Quavo was supposedly involved in a lucrative dice game outside of the bowling alley and then got into an argument with two others after losing money to them.

Then, in support of Quavo, a man by the name of Willie Bland engaged in a physical altercation that resulted in him striking one of the two people, according to surveillance evidence.

Google today revealed the findings of its 2022 Year In Search, showcasing the most searched terms, people, actors, musicians, topics, questions, and more that sparked Nigerians’ attention the most this year.

Google’s Year in Search is an annual report that highlights what people search for throughout the world to see, learn, and do while also revealing the top trending lists.

According to this year’s Year in Search results, Nigerians are more interested than ever in politics, entertainment, sports, lifestyle, and famous people.

The 2022 Year in Search lists offers a glimpse into what Nigerians were interested in during a year that featured significant sporting events, high-profile deaths, and the run-up to Nigeria’s election in February.

The Africa Cup of Nations, also known as AFCON, and Casemiro, a Brazilian football player, dominated the categories of top trending searches and top athletes and sports people, respectively.

Nigeria was ousted from the 2022 AFCON campaign by Tunisia in a 1 – 0 defeat, while Senegal went on to win their first Africa Cup of Nations title earlier this year, defeating Egypt.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities’ (ASUU) eight-month-long strike placed the organisation in second place among Nigerians’ most popular trending searches throughout the time period under consideration.

Oxlade, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, ranked first in both the top trending people and top trending musicians searches conducted by Nigerians this year.

Asake, an Afrobeat singer signed to YBNL Nation came up in second place in the top trending musicians list. Anikulapo, a Nigerian epic fantasy film starring Kunle Remi and produced by Kunle Afolayan topped the category of trending movies and series.

Questions like, ‘Who is Peter Obi’s running mate?’, ‘Who is the APC Presidential candidate?’, ‘Who is Atiku’s running mate?’, ‘Who is leading in the Osun State election?’, ‘Who isTinubu’s running mate?’ and ‘Who is Peter Obi?’, reveal the increased interest of Nigerians for politics and the elections happening next year.

Entertainment-related search terms like ‘Finesse lyrics’, ‘Buga’, the song by Kizz Daniel featuring Tekno and ‘Will Smith’ all topped their categories revealing Nigerians’ interest for lyrics, songs and celebrity personalities.

And in a year with a number of high-profile deaths, the death of Queen Elizabeth was the most searched loss, followed by gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, who died in April and actress Ada Ameh who died in August.

Other top searched questions like, ‘How to link NIN?’, ‘How to buy shares?’, ‘How to register for PVC online?’, ‘What is Lupus?’ and “What is NATO?’ showed how Nigerians made use of Search to find out more about their interests in 2022.

Cardi B revealed on Twitter that she has been finding it difficult to keep her husband Offset happy since the passing of his bandmate and cousin Takeoff.

The 30-year-old musician opened up about the tragedy in a since-deleted voice message on Twitter this week, criticising people who were “trying to be humorous to get clout” and describing how she and her husband are feeling in the wake of the Migos member’s fatal shooting on November 1.

“We living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy,” Cardi said. “I feel like if I talk about the incident so desensitized, I feel like if we talk about how we really feel or what motherf—kers really been going through, y’all will start saying, ‘Oh, sympathy.’ And we don’t want no sympathy. We ain’t no charity case. But no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy.”

The rap superstar elaborated, telling fans that she’s not “in the mood” to be “playing around” online, and that the grieving process has been — and still is — very real.

Takeoff was reportedly shot in Houston during a misunderstanding that broke off over a game of dice. The deceased was said to have been minding his business during the argument, but unfortunately got hit by a bullet.

Yesterday, the 11th of November, Takeoff’s friends and family gathered for his memorial. The likes of Cardi B, Offset, Quavo, Drake, and a host of other celebrities were spotted at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

On Cardi’s Instagram page, she mentioned that the rapper’s “untimely passing has brought a great deal of pain and sorrow to so many lives”

I am heartbroken but I am grateful for all the precious memories we got to share while you were here with us. This has truly been a nightmare and the pain is incomparable.

Fans will be bidding their goodbyes to Takeoff, the late Migos rapper at a funeral service to be held at the State Farm arena.

Many people are still in shock after learning about Takeoff’s demise. The Migos rapper was tragically shot, according to the police, after an altercation at a bowling alley.

Fans, friends, and peers have continued to pay tribute to the late member of the Migos in recent times, despite the fact that there are still many unsolved questions.

On Friday, his birthplace of Atlanta will play host to a sizable memorial service. The service will be held at the 20,000-seat State Farm Arena, where Justin Bieber is scheduled to perform.

The funeral service tickets were sold out after they were made available for free. State Farm revealed that they have surpassed capacity in a message on Twitter.

They also asked those who weren’t able to get inside the venue to stay away from the downtown core.

“UPDATE: Tickets for the Celebration of Life for Takeoff scheduled for Nov. 11th are NO longer available. The event has reached capacity,” the statement reads. State Farm “strongly encouraged” fans without tickets to refrain from showing up. “No gifts or items will be permitted to be left at or near the venue.”

According to TMZ, Alicia Keys will also be playing at Takeoff’s memorial service in addition to Justin Bieber. Although the specifics of her participation are still unknown, it appears that she will be giving a tribute.

Police are still trying to piece together the facts in order to identify a suspect in the case. The Houston police said that they are investigating the information posted on social media and the different videos that went viral online.

Despite the fact that they have not made any arrests, they said that one of the persons of interest was seen in a leaked video flashing a gun.

Both Eric Holder and Nipsey Hussle (real name Ermias Asghedom) were wannabe rappers who grew up in the same Los Angeles neighbourhood and belonged to the Rollin’ 60s gang. On March 31, 2019, the 29-year-old Holder shot and murdered the 33-year-old Hussle after Hussle calmly informed Holder that he was becoming known as a “snitch.”

Pop Smoke

Pop Smoke, a 20-year-old New York rapper, was killed in February 2020 in Los Angeles by four teenagers who drove up to his residence in an attempted robbery.

Pop, real name Bashar Jackson, was shot to death by a 15-year-old who was one of the five people detained in connection with the rapper’s murder, according to additional evidence from a detective working the case.

The day before he was assassinated, Jackson received an Amiri gift bag. His manager called him after he shared a picture of the gift bag which had his address on Instagram and he was advised to take it off, but it was already too late.

XXXTentacion

On June 18, 2018, while at Riva’s MotorSports in Pompano Beach, Florida, the 20-year-old XXXTentacion (born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy) was robbed and fatally murdered in broad public. On Thursday during a hearing, a CCTV film was shown for the first time at Broward County Court.

It showed the rapper entering the dealership closely followed by two men who bought masks before leaving. A dark-coloured Dodge Journey 4×4 blocks the rapper’s departure as he gets back into his £115,000 BMW and prepares to leave the parking lot.

Two masked males can be seen in video footage sprinting toward him after getting out of the car’s passenger side doors. After a tussle, the 20-year-old is fatally shot at close range.

The men fled the scene with a Louis Vuitton bag containing $50,000 in cash, police said.

King Von

In 2020, Chicago rapper King Von was murdered in a shooting outside an Atlanta nightclub. The incident took place following the 26-year-record old’s release party for “Welcome to O’Block,” a reference to the South Side neighbourhood around 64th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive where he was raised. King Von, whose true name is Dayvon Bennett, was sent to a local hospital, where he passed away.

Young Dolph

Young Dolph, real name Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in his hometown of South Memphis’ Makeda’s Cookies in 2021 while purchasing cookies. Dolph was in Memphis for his annual Thanksgiving gift-giving event. The artist, who resides primarily in Atlanta, had plans to distribute turkeys in his former neighbourhood.

Sidhu Moose Wala

Sidhu Moose Wala, a Punjabi rapper-turned-politician who is famous with introducing rap to rural areas, was fatally shot on May 29, 2022 after being ambushed by unknown assailants in his vehicle. He had 19 bullet wounds on his body, and the post-mortem revealed that he passed away 15 minutes after being shot. At the time, police stated that “inter-gang rivalry” was probably what caused the homicide.

PnB Rock

Rakim Hasheem Allen, better known by his stage as PnB Rock, was tragically murdered on September 12 while eating lunch with his fiancée at Los Angeles legendary restaurant Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. Witnesses said that after shooting PnB several times, the mysterious shooter stole his jewels and Rolex watch.

Takeoff

28 year-old rapper, Takeoff, who was one-third of the platinum-selling rap group Migos, was shot and killed early Tuesday, 1st of November, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

The 28-year-old rapper, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was fatally shot at a bowling alley in Houston where he and Quavo were playing dice around 2.30am; Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people on the premises were shot and taken to hospital while Quavo was unharmed.

Houston police say they responded to the scene of a shooting in downtown Houston at a bowling and pool hall around 2:30 a.m. local time. One person was found dead, according to a tweet from the department.

Born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Takeoff began performing with his uncle and fellow rapper Quavo, along with Offset, as Migos in 2008. The trio found fame with their 2013 single, “Versace.”

American rapper, Takeoff, a member of the hip-hop group Migos, was reported to have been shot dead in Houston over a dice game.

According to witnesses and law enforcement sources, the deadly incident occurred soon after 2:30 AM. At that time, police received a call that a man had been shot at the bowling alley known as 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.

It was said that Takeoff and Quavo were there playing dice when a fight erupted, and that is when someone opened fire, shooting Takeoff… either in the head or near his head. On the spot, he was determined to be dead.

In a footage obtained by TMZ from the scene, Quavo can be seen in an orange shirt — and others gathered around Takeoff. At first, they tried to move him, but then put him back down, and Quavo yelled for someone to get help.

Just a couple of hours before the shooting, Takeoff posted a selfie from the bowling alley. Quavo had posted a video earlier in the night, driving around Houston with Jas Prince, who was celebrating his birthday.

American rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known professionally as Offset, has announced the release date for his highly anticipated sophomore album.

The rapper used social media to put his followers on a waiting list after setting a deadline, He has yet to announce a title for the project, which follows his 2019 solo debut Father of 4.

The album has so far produced two songs, including “54321,” which was produced by Baby Keem, and “Code,” which features Moneybagg Yo. The 13-track album also includes a Chlöe Bailey collaboration.

“Album full of hits, full of smashes. Y’all gon’ see how I’m coming, I’m coming crazy, all aspects of rap,” Offset told fans.

The album arrives amid ongoing rumours of a Migos breakup. While Offset pursues his solo career, Quavo and Takeoff are set to drop their joint album Only Built for Infinity Links on Oct. 7.

With his sophomore album, the rapper from the Migos is stepping out on his own once more. He released two singles before announcing that the album would be available on streaming services on November 11.

DJ Khaled is about to make history with his forthcoming album, God Did which features artists like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Juice WRLD, Drake, and others.

If there is one thing you can count on from a DJ Khaled album, it is a great lineup of features. Over the course of his career, Khaled has relied heavily on his collaborators to help bring his vision to life.

Some of the features on God Did have been teased by Khaled. He announced that Jay Z will appear on the project, while Drake and Lil Baby helped launch the campaign earlier this month with “Staying Alive.”

Khaled formally announced the tracklist for God Did just one day after revealing the album’s cover art. The album will have 18 tracks in all, including some amazing guest appearances, even by Khaled’s standards.

Drake appears on the album’s intro, “No Secret,” as his second feature on the album.

Meanwhile, Jay Z’s verse is included on the title track alongside Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend and Fridayy.

There’s also a remix to Kanye West’s “Use This Gospel,” which also includes a feature from Eminem and production from Dr. Dre and the ICU.
