It’s for me, my family, and the generations to come.” You know? I’m still taking it in. Like I tell my boys … sometimes I don’t feel famous at all. I just feel like I’m chosen to do this. If there was no me, there would be no one else.”

Additionally, Rema shared his perspective on individuals who emulate his style of music. He expressed that he feels honored to be regarded as one of the originators of trends that people eagerly imitate, even though he often doesn’t receive the recognition he deserves for these contributions.

He said, “I’ve been on the road for four years. Back to back. Dropping bangers. It’s helped my growth, just nonstop going, going, going. And as much as a vacation is needed, I don’t like to feel idle. I have so much planned for evolving the sound. I’ve always been that guy: I want to change the game. To be honest, I see — even though some artists would not give me that glory or whatever — I know how many people have copied my moves.

And I’m flattered by it. The quality. And when the game names you something? Like when I named myself the future, that was just an unconscious responsibility. But when the game, by itself, calls you “the prince of Afrobeats,” or you’re this or you’re that, it’s like the universe has picked you, you know? The culture cannot deny that I’ve opened doors. Even though I’m just four years in.”

The Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy’s seventh studio album appears to be taking shape, as Swizz Beatz recently provided a sample of an unreleased song from the album.

Burna Boy hinted that with the release of the remix of Sittin On Top Of The World with 21 Savage, he would release his next album under a new record label called Seven Records.

The record-breaker, who recently became the first African musician to ever sell out Citifield stadium, hasn’t said when his new album would be released, but fans are intrigued by the prospect of what to expect from the project as it looks like it will take an unusual strategy.

Nigerian Superstar, Wizkid has caused a huge grievance for his fans in Canada as he announced the cancellation of his tour which was supposed to be held in the North-American country

The singer who had a great 2021 was supposed to tour Canada this January but would be unable to do so due to public health restrictions set up in the country as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Grammy winner made a post on his verified Twitter account stating that he would be unable to perform as a result of restrictions but promises to return as soon as possible.

He shared this via his Twitter page on Wednesday, the 19th of January 2022.

The statement reads;

“Due to existing and developing Public health restriction measures being introduced by the Canadian Government, I will no longer be able to perform my Canadian shows in January. I’m looking forward to returning as soon as possible.”

Wizkid is currently on a North American tour in support of his new album, Made in Lagos.

He began his tour in Boston on Friday and continued with shows in New York on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 which was held in the Brooklyn part of the city.

During the event, he asked fans to join in honouring the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center 20 years ago.

He then performed songs from his “Made In Lagos” album and old songs.
