Sunday Are, the manager of Wizkid, has congratulated Davido and his spouse, Chioma Rowland, on their nuptials.

The seasoned talent manager prayed for the couple’s union and asked God to bless them.

On his Instagram story, Are wrote: “Congratulations to the latest couple in town, Mr & Mrs Adeleke @davido @thechefchi. God bless your home. #Chivido2024.”

Recall that on Tuesday in Lagos, a variety of Nigerian celebrities attended Davido’s wedding.Don Jazzy, PSquare, Patoranking, Zlatan Ibile, B-Red, Ini Edo, Victor Osimhen, Jay Jay Okocha, and numerous other superstars were there.

Wizkid, though, was noticeably absent from the occasion.

Grammy Award-winning artist Angelique Kidjo will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 2022 Headies Awards.

On Tuesday 1st of March, 2022, the Headies awards founder and Executive Producer Ayo Animashaun announced that the 2022 Headies will be leaving the shores of Nigeria.

The Headies Awards, which honours the Nigerian music scene, will take place on September 4th, 2022 at the COBB Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to the organisers, the Hall of Fame special recognition was bestowed on an individual of African descent who has made an excellent and “outstanding impact on the African entertainment industry, home and abroad.

Asides from the Hall of Fame recognition, some individuals were given special recognition for “excellence and outstanding impact on the entertainment industry within the year under review” in this edition.

Recipients of such recognition include Burna Boy’s mum and manager, Bose Ogulu; Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, and 2Baba’s manager, Efe Omorogbe.

Some international artists were also recognised for their “outstanding impact on the Nigerian entertainment industry.”

Haitian musician, Wyclef Jean; American-Senegalese singer, Akon; and American rapper, Diddy, were recipients of this award.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, an Instagram user uploaded photographs and videos of the pricey gift that Wizkid gave Sunday Are.

As he accepted his present, an obviously ecstatic Sunday Are could not hide his delight. Are is the powerful manager of one of Africa’s top music singers

The older man fondly known as Baba Are took to his Instagram page to share a video of himself as he took delivery of the new luxury car.

According to him, the car was a surprise gift from the singer.

He wrote, “What a way to start the new week. Another surprise from @wizkidayo himself. I can’t thank you enough.”

This isn’t the first time Wizkid has lavished him with an extravagant gift.
