Pre-release singles such as Early featuring Victony, and “Excited,” with Ami Faku, Heavy-K, and Niniola, heightened expectations. By August 14, when he revealed a heavyweight lineup including Wizkid, Summer Walker, and Buju Banton, anticipation had reached fever pitch.

Running at 48 minutes, the album opens with the title track, Eko Groove, featuring Ayinde Bakare, instantly setting a rhythmic Lagos-inspired tone.     Rolling Loud Announces Headliners For 2024 California Concert

    Rolling Loud is set to return to Inglewood’s Hollywood Park Grounds from March 15 to 17, 2024, and the lineup for the festival has been revealed. Nicki Minaj will be the opening headliner on Friday, March 15, with Rae Sremmurd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Tecca, Sexyy Red, Anycia, and a joint performance by YG and Tyga.

    Post Malone will headline on Saturday, March 16, with support from Summer Walker, Big Sean, Larry June, and Flo Milli. The festival will conclude on Sunday, March 17, with Lil Uzi Vert, who will share the stage with Don Toliver, Chief Keef, NLE Choppa, 03 Greedo, Bryson Tiller, and Ski Mask the Slump God.

    While Rolling Loud California 2024 continues to focus mainly on hip-hop and rap acts, there is a noticeable presence of R&B artists like Ryan Trey and Bryson Tiller in next year’s lineup.

    Summer Walker Unveils Official ‘Clear 2: Soft Life’ Tracklist

    American R&B singer Summer Walker is prepared to live her best life, and she intends to bring both of her daughters with her. The R&B singer will release her upcoming EP, Clear 2: Soft Life, on Friday, May 19.

    Today (May 15), she revealed the tracklist and features in a new skit starring Sukihana and Sexyy Red.

    The video opens up with a scene of the three ladies meeting up at a luxurious beach resort to have a relaxing day together. They order some caviar and proceed to poke fun at being sceptical about trying it, which is likely a reference to partnering with Spotify’s RapCaviar platform for the announcement.

    The first song to play is “To Summer, From Cole (Audio Hug),” which many fans believe is an appearance by J. Cole. Other performers include Childish Gambino, Solange, Steve Lacy, and John Kirby.

    Summer Walker Confirms New Project ‘CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP’

    American R&B singer Summer Walker stunned fans with the announcement that she will be releasing a new project during her set at J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, delivering the news at the tail end of her act on Sunday Night. The CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP will be released on May 19 via LVRN/Interscope Records.

    CLEAR 2 will be the follow-up to 2019’s four-track CLEAR, which came before the R&B singer’s breakout album Over It.

    Walker also revealed the EP’s cover, a beautiful photo of herself cradling her baby bulge while resting in a flower-filled rowboat.

    Walker’s new EP is the first new music fans will hear from her since last year’s revised sped-up version of “Final Day of Summer.” Her previous full-length release was 2021’s Still Over It.

    J. Cole and Drake performing together at Dreamville Fest made it a historic night for hip-hop. The 2023 Dreamville Festival was not one to be missed.

    As promised, the rap heavyweights headlined a performance at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Dorothea Dix Park to cap up the event on Sunday.

    At about 9:30 p.m., Cole took the “Shine” stage and began the show with his 2010 single “Who Dat” before performing songs from his back catalogue including “Middle Child,” “a lot,” and “Power Trip.” His Dreamville clan, which included J.I.D, Bas, EarthGang, Cozz, Lute, and Omen, joined him as well.

    The moment fans had been waiting for finally arrived when Cole introduced Drake around 30 minutes into his performance. Drake began his set with “SICKO MODE” and continued with songs like “Headlines,” “HYFR,” and “Marvins Room.”

    “My brother told me to do some songs you don’t normally perform,” Drake told the crowd.

    Then Drake appeared with his unexpected guests, beginning with GloRilla, who sang “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).”

    Before Drake and the “boss,” Lil Wayne joined him for “The Motto,” “Uproar,” and “A Milli,” Lil Uzi Vert got the crowd singing along to “XO TOUR LIf3” and “Just Wanna Rock.”

    21 Savage and Drake then served up their collaborations including “Knife Talk” and Her Loss‘s “Rich Flex.”

    “My brother asked me to show up here like a year ago. I’m trying to do the best I can do for you,” Drake said while wearing a UNC Asheville Bulldogs jersey.

    He capped off his performance by playing Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” a tradition started by Lil Wayne at his shows.

    “The greatest rapper in the world used to do this at his show every night,” said Drake. “I’ma play this next song and if you love this man like I love this man, you’ll sing as loud as you can.”

    As fans sang along and lit up the sky with their phones, Cole returned to the stage to give Drake his flowers.

    “This man right here bro, I’m such a fan and I feel like I’m speaking for all of us when I say this bro, we are fu**ing wowed, amazed, blown away by your greatness,” he said. “It gives a ni**a chills to see you do this at the highest level, non-stop, and constantly serve us and bless us with the fu**ing soundtrack to our lives. I’m blown away by your greatness, bro.”

    Summer Walker, Burna Boy, GloRilla, and Usher all gave performances during the two-day Dreamville Fest, and the latter amused crowd members with an April Fools’ joke based on Beyoncé.

    Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr had a huge moment going for her at the recent Dreamville Festival which took place from the 1st of April to the 2nd of April.

    The singer performed on the second day (2nd of April) alongside other star artists like Burna Boy, JID, Drake, Summer Walker and others.

    Ayra who has made a name for herself on the Nigerian music scene didn’t hesitate to win over new fans’ hearts with her beautiful performances.

    She gave an acapella rendition of “Beggie Beggie” before transitioning to “Bloody Samaritan” and then her latest hit single, “Sabality“.

    To round off her performance, She put on an energetic dance routine for her “Sabality” performance to the loud cheers of fans.

    Reacting to the performances, Ayra posted videos of her set and captioned it with;

    “Dreamville was amazing ! I feel Bonita”

    Lute, Key Glock, Jessie Reyez, Sean Paul, the City Girls, Ari Lennox, and Lil Durk all made appearances at the start of the two-day event.

    Usher, the R&B sensation, was chosen to perform as the evening’s main attraction on Saturday (April 1). He skillfully baited his audience with a joke about a Beyoncé appearance during his time on stage.

    On Sunday, April 2, the spectacular shows only got better as more artists, including Burna Boy, Baby Tate, Wacka Flocka Flame, Summer Walker, and others, gave it their all.

    Of course, the head honcho himself, J. Cole, and his friend Drake had to show there because it would not be Dreamville Festival without them.
