Nigerian rap duo Show Dem Camp (SDC) has announced the release date for a new joint project with Nsikak and The Cavemen.

The album, titled “No Love in Lagos,” is set to be released on August 9, 2024. It features a collaboration between SDC, The Cavemen, and singer-songwriter Nsikak David, with production by Spax.

In an interview with Apple Music, Nigerian Grammy award-winning artist Tems shared how she created her latest single, ‘Love Me Jeje’.

Tems revealed that the song originated from a spontaneous night out with friends, which eventually led them to the studio, where her producers, Guilty and Spax, presented her with a beat as a challenge.

During the session, one of Tems’s friends improvised the iconic line “Love Me Jeje, Love Me Tender,” borrowed from Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 classic. Inspired by the moment, Tems followed suit and contributed her own freestyled verses, which gradually evolved into the song “Love Me Jeje.”

This collaborative and organic approach to songwriting underscores Tems’s creative process, highlighting the power of spontaneity and collective inspiration in crafting memorable music.

David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has identified the producers who collaborated with him on his upcoming album.

The DMW frontline performer and owner, who has three studio albums under his belt, is getting ready to drop his fourth, which will undoubtedly feature some of the most talented artists.

In a recent interview that has gone viral online, the DMW Label founder praised producers of note including Shizzi, Kiddominant, Pheelz, and Spax.

According to Davido, Pheelz collaborated with him more on the record than any other producer.

Pheelz was the producer behind the album’s first single, “Stand Strong” which featured Sunday Service Choir.

OBO, who earlier promised to release new music in March after taking a break following the unfortunate death of his son Ifeanyi, is indeed set to make a grand comeback.
