2018 was sure a fruitful year for many artistes, but Burna Boy’s case was different.

The awards also gave the audience the opportunity to turn up on a Sunday morning with appearances from Niniola, Victor AD, Teni, AKAworldwide among others.

It was also the first time that Patoranking took home the “Video of the Year” award. South Africa’s Busiswa clinched the Best Female MVP against Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage, Simi, Niniola and Yemi Alade.

And now, reports reaching us shows that the “Tito Mboweni” rapper may have singles with several other Nigerian artists, including Burna Boy and Skales. And a mixtape with Davido is possible.

“Me and Davido made few songs, I spoke to him, we might be working on a mixtape together. He’s also just a hungry, eager dude, he just wants us to work, he’s just like me you know. We’ll figure everything out later,” he said, according to SA Hip Hop Mag.

“Burna Boy is an amazing artist as well, I worked with him when I was in Nigeria. I worked with Skales, there’s this kid called Airboy I also got into the studio with. I met Skepta when I was out in Nigeria, we might have some music coming out soon,” he had said.

Recently too, Nigerian rapper, YCEE has been spotted in the studio with him. And, he (Cassper) was said to have recorded with American rapper, French Montana.

There might just be too many Cassper collabos dropping this year, mehn!!!

Kiddominant this morning went on ranting spree on Twitter, criticizing the organizers of the award show, and of course questioning the credibility of the award.

The reason for the producer’s rant is suspected to be because he lost the title for ‘producer of the year’ to YBNL’s Young John.

The producer recorded several hit songs in the year under review, hit songs including Davido‘s Fall, Mayorkun‘s Mama and Che Che.

Some of his followers seems to share his view. They conveyed their thoughts in tweets and stated that Kiddominant deserved the award. The producer endorsed these tweets via retweets.
