    Nigerian songstress, Ayra Starr has gotten fans excited with the news of a forthcoming collaboration with Jamaican singer-songwriter, Skip Marley.

    The “Bloody Samaritan” singer took to Twitter to post a black and white picture of her and Skip Marley with the caption;

    “Skip Marley x ayra starr coming soon !”

    Skip Marley also confirmed the news on his own verified Twitter pages, posting a snippet of the song and asking fans to pre-save.

    He however didn’t disclose the name of the song.

    Their fans jumped on the comment section with excitement saying that they are looking forward to the official release date of the song which they have already classified as a hit.

    “YESSS FINALLLYYYYY !!! This is a strait chuneeee. Me Cyant wait til it dropsss ????????????????????,” wrote Shmoop.

    This comes a month after American singer, Kelly Rowland indirectly confirmed that she and Starr have worked on collaboration while wishing the Mavin Record singer a happy birthday.

    “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @ayrastarr,” the former Destiny’s Child star captioned the photo of herself and Ayra which clearly was taken from the set of their music video.

    Ayra Starr isn’t the first Nigerian artist Skip has featured on a song. In May, he released a remix of his song, “Slow Down” which featured Afrobeat Heavyweight, Davido and smooth singing Oxlade alongside American R’n’B singer, H.E.R.
