Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as White Money, has signed a management contract with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).

White Money announced the news on his verified Instagram profile on Tuesday, September 20.

The winner of Big Brother Naija 2021 shared photos from the official signing and also revealed that he has some songs which will be released on the 23rd.

He wrote; ”Now that we are in good hands, let the music flow.

EME is co-owned by singer-turned-politician Bankole’ Banky W’ Wellington and pilot-turned-businessman Tunde Demuren which was founded in 2002.

It was home to recording artists such as Wellington himself and Niyola. DJ Xclusive was the label’s official DJ. Wizkid, Skales and Shaydee were all formerly signed to the label. Producers associated with the label include Masterkraft, Jay Sleek, Cobhams Asuquo, Spellz and Samklef, among others.

Banky W announced in February 2018 that E.M.E was dissolved as a record label; he said the label is now a talent management company focused on creative marketing, advertising, PR and brand events.

In 2021, Banky W revived the record label, after dropping a couple of singles alongside his Wife, who dropped her debut single in 2022.

In other news, White Money has revealed four favourite housemates in the 2022 BBNaija house.

The Big Brother Naija Season 6 winner, Whitemoney has taken to social media to list his favourite housemates in the ‘Level Up’ edition.

The winner of this year’s BBNaija will walk home with N100 million worth of prizes from sponsors of the show.

Taking to the bird app, the ‘Selense’ crooner in a Tweet disclosed that, he supports Phyna, Bryann, Hermes and Bella to win the grand prize.

R&BW is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer Banky W. It was released on February 14, 2013, by Empire Mates Entertainment.

The album’s production was handled by Banky W, Cobhams Asuquo, Masterkraft, M.I, Spellz, Sarz and Samklef.

Known as The Frabzinator, Dokta Frabz was one of the few music producers who made trap music popular in the early 2000s.

Most people heard the name ‘Dokta Frabz‘ for the first time on D’banj’s “Jasi“. Frabz was a unique producer who fused his Hip-Hop background with sped up African percussion to form Nigerian sounds.

Biography of Dokta Frabz

Born Ayorinde Faboro, Dokta Frabz was born and raised in Lagos, where he started his music career.

He started from the Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral in Ikeja, where he played the keyboard, the drum, and other Sunday School instruments as a kid.

His music talent won him several secondary school awards as the school pianist and choir leader at Doregos Private Academy in the Ipaga suburb of Lagos.

A fan on Twitter who was reminiscing on an old song of Banky W asked the singer to release new music.

Banky in replying to the comment revealed that he has an album in the works. The album name he revealed to be titled “The Bank Statements”.

He also revealed that the album was almost complete. He said the album was already 75% complete.

“The Bank Statements” album is on the way, I promise. About 75% finished.” He wrote

Born Olubankole Wellington, Banky became popular after the release of “Ebutte Metta”, a cover of Rihanna’s “Umbrella”.

He started his label, EME where he signed Wizkid, Skales, Niyola, and Shaydee to the Label. The singer in the course of his career has released a total of 7 projects.

Everyone will agree that she’s tried her bit of making that happen. She could be the one everyone not only respects but also love. Maybe it’s a man’s world and female DJ’s don’t get big breaks and stuff, well, Cuppy has the balls to do her thing and make ground.

But Khaled didn’t become the greatest by just having the balls, no. There’s a lot of music, and music and music and music. In the long run, that’s what differentiates the ones that will die spinning records for a radio station, and the ones that will go on to do greater things. I’d like to think DJ Cuppy is the latter, and she’s off to a good start.

Before the “Charged Up” disaster, last year, she has done two singles worthy of mentioning. First was “Green Light” with former MMMG singer, Tekno and the other, “Vybe” with Ghanaian rap star, Sarkodie. The Tekno collaboration was released back in 2017, when Tekno was still one of the hottest on the continent (he probably still is?) while “Vybe” was shared, back in March 2018. Both were good songs, yeah. If they did anything, it was to tell us Cuppy could still do way more.

Earlier this year, though, she did a spectacular one, put Ceeza Milli and Shaydee on “Abena”, a track which quickly became a hit. It’s the kind of song you’d drop if you’re planning to release an EP or album or something. Superhit, yeah.

But, the impact of the song is just as important as the follow-up. No one is expecting DJ Cuppy to disappoint again, no. Especially when the street is hot, and guys like Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile are getting all the buzz. She had to jump on the bandwagon, because that’s what DJs do, and she’s a DJ, innit?

She probably had choices, but to make “Gelato” perfect, why not just go for the best? Zlatan Ibile, yes. It had to be good enough, because the last time she tried doing street or so, it failed with a capital “F.” She got better, obviously, and now she had to prove it on a jam with Zlatan.

For starters, Gelato isn’t the best street word anyone could think of. “Sweet like Gelato” and many guys on the streets don’t even know what the Italian dessert is, or looks like. Well, we don’t expect less from the daughter of Femi Otedola.

The instrumental had systematic piano chords that sounded like Master KG and Zanda Zakuza‘s. Tapping from the SA house vibe, and the heavy percussions that characterize street beats, here, the high tempo beat is contagious, if you ask me. Something Zlatan would very much like to jump on, anytime.

Right from the start, DJ Cuppy, took over the song doing a clear hook, before Zlatan Ibile came with his bars, which are unusually too long, in away. Then they did the “Who’s your daddy? Otedola… ” chant.

Maybe it’s studio or that’s how she just sounds, these days, but she amazingly sounds like a 16-year-old. But she still managed to pull off a hook on a street song? If that’s not really cool, I don’t know what is. Zlatan Ibile, who did the hook, was just his normal self, repping the streets, as usual.

“Gelato” has got all the good vibe, yeah. And this is a good one for the streets!
