The host of the Grammy Awards in 2023 as well as the initial lineup of artists have both been revealed by the recording academy.

The recording academy, which organises the Grammy Awards 2023, has confirmed the initial list of artists who will appear at the 65th annual edition of the famous award ceremony, which will take place in the early hours of Monday, February 6th, 2023, 1 a.m. West Africa Time.

The music academy has confirmed that South African comedian Trevoh Noah will host the 65th edition of the Grammy Awards, which will take place on February 6, 2023.

The recording academy announced the initial lineup of performers for the Grammy Awards 2023 in a statement on its social media platforms today, Wednesday, January 25, 2023. The majority of the acts on the list are some of the nominees of the night.

Wizkid, Burna Boy, Ckay, Fireboy DML, and Tems have been nominated for Afrobeats Artist of the Year at the upcoming 11th edition of iHeartRadio Music Awards 2023.

These nominated Nigerian performers significantly aided in the spread and acceptance of Afrobeats around the world.

Tems, who is perhaps the hottest female singer on the African continent, was nominated for four other awards: “Best New R&B Artist,” “R&B Song of the Year,” “Hip-Hop Song of the Year,” and “Best Collaboration.” With Future and Drake’s “Wait For You” collaboration, the 27-year-overall old’s nominations increased to five.

Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has revealed why he is still childless at the age of 31.

Speaking to Billboard on his album, the African Giant revealed that he has no child at age 31. He stated that there have been times he has reflected on his childlessness per his age.

In his words:

“When you turn 31 and ain’t got no kids, everything is going good and bad at the same time. You reflect and then you get as lit as possible.”

In a previous interview, he revealed he does not have children yet because he wants to be stable first.

But, before I get ahead of myself and reveal the game, here are my initial impressions of the project after only one listen.

“Work Fada” featuring NAS & Rich King

This show is on fire. The jazz notes are fantastic, the bass guitar is incredible, and the chorus chants are incredible.

This spoken-word delivery from Tiwa Savage is a nice surprise, isn’t Rich King Yoruba? This is a truly lovely tune, as well as a shocking and enthralling album opener.

I was just thinking about how long this song is when Nas starts his verse, which is obviously highly thoughtful in both lyrical and delivery tone.

The “run” (or whatever they call it) yell that keeps the song moving is probably my favorite part of it. Very astute. That’s fantastic.
