According to Priddy Ugly Toxic fans are causing a rift among artists. The fantastic music that has characterised South African hip hop for the past ten years has brought delight to its listeners, but the culture has also given rise to never-ending feuds amongst artists who take different sides in their criticisms.

Priddy Ugly adds that the fans are equally to blame for the rivalries that have ruined the game because of all the competition that comes with hip-hop culture. He claimed on his Twitter feed that toxic behaviour among musicians exists and is occasionally encouraged by followers.

He added that “Artists can be toxic, but one day we’re going to have to discuss how toxic the “fan” bases can be, they often do more to create divide and conflict between artists creating problems that the respective artists don’t or didn’t actually have with each other, “

Based on the responses to his post, some of his followers weren’t persuaded by his viewpoint.

In a subsequent Tweet, he urged people not to believe everything they read online and said that even if musicians pick fights with one another, they still hang out and enjoy themselves.

AKA Disproves Rumors That His Pen Game Has dropped and Regarding South African rappers with the best song catalogue, AKA is not unusual. Despite the challenges he encountered, the rapper has continued to consistently release timeless tracks.

One of AKA’s admirers informed him on Twitter that his pen game has allegedly declined, pushing the rapper to release some timeless songs to remind his detractors. “They say your pen game has dropped; please give them classic Mega since it seems they forgot,” read the tweet.

As a rapper, AKA said that he had nothing to prove and that people would always have something to say. He continued by saying that the sheer amount of happiness his music has provided to South Africans speaks for itself.

After releasing the singles Lemon (Lemonade) and Paradise, AKA is currently having much success with his music. The rapper has promised to release music for every South African and has told his followers that he would release a new album in January.

He urged other up-and-coming musicians to never give up because of the success he has had in SA hip hop over the past several years. This happened after Spotify unveiled its Spotify Wrapped feature, which displays how songs by various artists have been played on the streaming service.
