Accidents happen, even when you’re a celebrity, the hard truth is that when a celebrity falls or trips in public, the whole world will know, and here are the top 10 Nigerian artists who have fallen while playing on stage.

So many stars have taken hard falls on stage during their concerts and it quickly makes headlines.

What makes matters worse is that now fans go to concerts prepared to record every single moment, and often capture these falls on video, which is then shared on social media.

There were a lot of highlights at the 2012 edition of The Headies held at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotels and Suits last Saturday but one that has got everyone talking is centered around act Burna Boy who fell off the stage as he was about to perform.

The Dancehall act who was selected as one of the two rookies acts to grace the stage and perform successfully turned what might have been a mishap into a fantastic performance.

Back in December 2012, Burna Boy while performing at the Headies. just like Humpty dumpty, had a great fall.

 

Wizkid

Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid is no doubt one of the most loved artists in the music industry and this is evident in the way fans outdo themselves to prove their love for the music star.

Just recently, Wizkid had his highly anticipate Starboy Fest in Lagos, and the venue was packed full, to say the least.

Like other shows the music star has performed in over the course of the year, the event was not free of drama, especially as it concerns his encounter with fans.

Unknown to them, the issue was far from over. Moments after another fan who wanted to have physical contact with Wizkid mounted the stage.

Unfortunately, as the bouncers attempted to whisk the guy off stage, he latched on tightly to Wizkid’s leg, causing the singer to fall on stage.

Davido

Davido had a brilliant performance over the weekend in Rwanda even though he started on a clumsy note.

Davido had an embarrassing moment when he fell while climbing on stage in Rwanda to perform at his concert.

The incident happened at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali, Rwanda on March 3, 2018, where the music star performed to a large crowd of fans who couldn’t wait to see their favorite musician perform.

Tiwa Savage

Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage got more than she bargained for during a recent performance that saw her landing on her butt on stage.

The singer had taken to social media to share a video of herself performing when suddenly a fan ran on stage to hug her and in the process pulled her to the floor.

Bella Shmurda

Nigerian fast-rising singer Bella Shmurda has gone viral after he was caught on camera allegedly drunk in Ibadan.

In the video, Bella was heard insulting people that came to see him perform as he almost fall on stage.

The incident happened in Ibadan, Oyo State on Sunday, January 3rd as many fans were left disappointed while others reportedly left the show after he could hardly stand to perform.

Peter Okoye

Psquare was belting their hit song ‘Bring it on, a song off their album ‘Double Trouble’ when Peter Okoye stepped too close to the center edge of the five-foot elevated stage and fell off.

He tumbled and landed on the floor, hitting his back against the protective metal barricades used to shield fans from the stage.

Lil Kesh

Asides Olamide, his former protege, Lil Kesh thrilled fans at the event. While he was performing his smash hit, ‘Efejoku,’ his producer, Young Jonn excitedly joined him on stage.

But as Young Jonn was rushing to the stage in euphoria, he didn’t realize the water was on stage. He slipped and ran into Lil Kesh who also fell.

They both got up and hugged each other only the fall down again. Attendees at the event blamed the risky occurrence on fans who spill water to the stage.

in 2014, Chocolate City singer, Ruby Gyang had a fall during her performance at the One Mic Naija concert in Lagos.

The ‘Gbera’ singer known for his infectious energy came nothing short of that at this year’s edition of DJ Jimmy Jatt’s “Jump off” ”Mainland Invasion” concert.

However, that got the best of him as the street hop singer in a momentary loss of concentration lost his footing, falling awkwardly off the stage while performing his hit song ‘Mosquito’.
