Queen Bee, a member of the YBNL Nation, has defended Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML after he faced criticism for his performance at president-elect Bola Tinubu’s pre-inauguration celebration.

The event took place on Thursday, May 25, 2023, and no fewer than 46 performers were contracted for it. The “Peru” crooner was one of those who accepted the offer.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) youth organized the ‘RenewedHopeConcert‘ event to honour the role that young people performed in the general elections.

Naira Marley, Waje, Brymo, Asake, Fireboy, Kcee, Asake, Timaya, BNXN, Pasuma, Tony Tetuila, and Seyi Vibes are a few more artists that also performed.

However, his supporters were incensed by his behaviour and lambasted him on Twitter for disregarding their sentiments.

Reacting to the backlash, Queen Bee disclosed that Seyi Tinubu was the person who took Fireboy to meet his boss, Olamide.

She tweeted;“Lol most of them don’t know Seyi Tinubu introduced Fireboy DML to Olamide.”

Other social media users also provided justifications for why they thought Fireboy did nothing wrong.
