From Jamaican singer Popcaan’s most recent studio album, “Great Is He,” the new single Celebrate features Black Sherif.

Ghanaian-British producer Jae5, who also contributed to Sherif’s widely acclaimed album, produced the aforementioned song.

“Villian I Never Was.” Drake, Burna Boy, and many other artists make noteworthy cameos on the 5th album from the 867 GUD boss, “Great is He.”

Black Sherif joined in on the song’s second stanza, thanking God for protecting his musical endeavours and proclaiming his victory over numerous challenges and impediments.

The businessman and music executive, who owns 20% of the streaming service Tidal, created a playlist of his top songs for the year 2022 on the same platform.

It features hits like “Last Last” by Burna Boy, “Wait For U” by Future ft. Tems and Drake, “N95” by Kendrick Lamar, and other songs, as well as hits like “Wait For U” and other songs.

The 41-song playlist features tracks from Lil Uzi Vert, Bad Bunny, Rosalía, Beyoncé, Drake ft. 21 Savage, Benny The Butcher ft. J. Cole, SZA, Metro Boomin ft. 21 Savage and Young Nudy, Lil Yachty, Vince Staples, Lil Baby, Gunna ft. Future and Young Thug, GloRilla ft. Cardi B, Nas, Pusha T, Quavo and Takeoff, Ab-Soul ft. Zacari, and more.

On the night of July 20, Kanye sent out tweets at a rapid pace, naming his wife Kim Kardashian, mother-in-law Kris Jenner, rival Drake, actor Shia LaBeouf and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. He even made a major claim about the 2017 Jordan Peele-directed film Get Out. 

Kanye West claimed that Kim and her Mother, Kris tried to have him locked up, also saying that Kris and a certain, Calmye, who is believed to be the nickname for Kris’ boyfriend, Corey Gamble is not allowed near his kids

“Kriss don’t play with me you and that calmye are not allowed around my children Ya’ll tried to lock me up,” He tweeted.

He also mentioned Drake and Pusha T

“Come and get me … this is the exodus like Pusha said” “Drake”.

Then he dragged Actor Shia LaBeouf as he revealed that Shia was the first celebrity to take part in Kanye’s YZY GAP photo shoot.

“Shia is cap,”  “Shia was deposed to do the first YZY GAP shoot and he never showed up.”

Kanye also revealed ow his wife, Kim tried to get him to see a doctor.

“Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor,” the rapper wrote. “If I get locked up like Mandela Y’all will know why… I love my wife My family must live next to me It’s not up to E or NBC anymore. The drama started after one of the songs from Pop Smoke forthcoming Deluxe album was leaked and it was the verse from Pusha T.

The song titled “paranoia” features Pusha T, Young Thug, and Gunna.

In the verse, he raps,

“You know reality bites/It’s chess not checkers/Those empty threats only sound good on your records/If the patois is not followed by blocka/It’s like marked for death Screwface, without the choppa/Let ’em rush the stage when you made like Sinatra.”

Young Thug later came out to address Pusha T’s alleged diss at Drake, he wrote,

“I don’t respect the Pusha T verse on the song with me and Gunna cause I don’t have nun to do with y’all beef nor does Gunna, and if I knew that was about him [Drake] I would’ve made changes on our behalf.. this rapper shit so gay.”

Pusha T responding to Young Thug wrote back,

“Aye @youngthug couple things: 1. Don’t feel bad, nobody knew what the verse was about. The label heads that stopped it didn’t even know.

“They only assume because he told them! The same way he told about the Ross “Mayback 6″ verse. And if he’ll tell record executive [about] rap verses, God only knows what else he’ll tell! I don’t deal with police work. Police rappers or Police Niggas.”

“2. @youngthug, you were the last verse added to the song that’s only because you requested it.

“3. And most important @young thug, just so we are clear…I would never look or need your respect for what it is I bring to this rap game.”

He also demanded that Steven Victor, the manager to Late Pop Smoke remove his verse on the song so as to avoid confusion.

“@stevenvictor I demand you take me off the deluxe @realpopsmoke album to avoid any confusion that may take away from this amazing body of work.”

Recall, that in 2018, Pusha T had fired shots at Drake in his song, Infrared” and Drake responded back with “Duppy Freestyle”.

Pusha T responded back with “Story of Adidon” where he revealed the explosive news that Drake was a father to a boy called “Adonis”.

M I took the lead, this year, by firing the first shots, on the Cyphers and on multiple occasions VEC, one of Yoruba’s finest rappers, took L’s, as M.I trumped him, not just with lyrical capabilities but by also bringing morals to question.

Truth be told, Vector the Viper’s career and path and everything has become more and more demystified, to a level of ‘see finish’. So what we did when M.I Abaga did “The Viper” was nothing but just watching the body drop, as Pusha T put it. Blaqbonez too weighed in, and for what it’s worth, it’s just to restate on whose side he’s on. Not that it really was impossible in any way. M.I already did the finishing touches, but the whole thing wasn’t just gonna’ go away. Not at this point where it’s got dirty.

On “The Viper”, Jude questioned Vector’s involvement in other people’s upliftment and called him ‘jealous’.

But you know how Davolee said he knew Dremo would say he (Davo) didn’t make Baddo any money (not a pun) and that he said it first, so when Dremo says it, it wouldn’t move him an inch? Well, there are a lot of things M.I couldn’t say first.

“I’m the only number one, in the 234” Vector started. The man always liked reminding himself (or maybe us?) that he’s actually good, and he’s not a fluke whatever. VEC even made a pun out of Milli, saying the Chairman wasted him.

So, what about all the questions M.I raised about him? How he didn’t sign anybody. OK, VEC said he put on two guys out of the three he’s parading (Blaqbonez, A-Q)  and all for free. Whoa. Vector did do that though. So what do you want him to do? “Sign a man I wouldn’t sign?” Mad.

The way of the Lord is not to do everything for gain, I’d suppose. Vector insists that’s all M.I has done. “The only light in the video was black (Blaq)”. Another point, M.I Abaga uses youngins to shine, only to dump them later.

If “The Viper” raised any question about Vector’s personality, Yoruba has got a win this time, because “Judas The Rat” isn’t just a bitter track about the Choc City boss, it also answers all the questions. And then the facts that we didn’t know. So Abaga had the Hennessy job? And, Vector’s a single dad? He said he succeeded in life!

Plus, everyone he mentioned is currently trending. If Ambode drops a track now, he go blow. That’s what I heard. LOL, right? Exactly!

The rapper on Sunday night bagged the award for best rap album of the year, becoming the first solo female rapper to win the category.

Cardi with her ‘Invasion of Privacy’ album benched the likes of  Travis Scott, Mac Miller, Pusha T, Nipsey Hussle, to win the award.

The ‘Drip‘ rapper also shared the award with Mac Miller.

Mac Miller was also nominated in the same Best Rap Album category but died in 2018.

Rappers, Remy Ma and Lil Kim championed the celebrations, among other fans.

Lil Kim wrote: “Thank U Jesus! Look at God. Congratulations boo @iamcardib you deserve it! So happy for you.

Remy Ma tweeted, “Yes Cardi B congratulation babes.”
