Oderhwo Joseph Efe, well known as Carter Efe, is a popular skit creator and artist. He recently stated that Asake, a Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, was ejected from the stage during his performance at London’s O2 Arena last year.

In the most recent episode of the Spill With Phyna Podcast, the sketch creator-turned-singer revealed this while bemoaning the harsh treatment meted out to Nigerian creatives by Western music executives and performance promoters.

He said, “The management of 02 Arena turned off the lights during Asake’s performance at the venue last year. Westerners treat us anyhow, and we still go back to them. They chased Asake off the stage. They put off the lights. I’m not lying.”

The host, Phyna suggested that Nigerian artists should unite and organize concerts for fans in the country but Carter Efe dismissed her suggestion because Nigeria lacks the facilities to host events of such magnitude.

The comedian-turned-singer revealed this on the most recent episode of the Spill With Phyna Podcast, where she also bemoaned the harsh treatment meted out to Nigerian artists by Western music executives and show promoters.

The winner of Big Brother Naija’s “Level Up,” Josephina Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has disclosed the kind of man she hopes to have a family with.

The reality TV personality stated that she would rather be with someone who has her character traits than with a quiet man.

In a widely shared Instagram live, Phyna revealed her preferences and emphasized the importance of her future husband being gregarious.

The singer claimed that if her partner exudes a “Shallipopi vibe,” that will be her lucky charm because he will be prepared to defend her from anyone who tries to hurt her.

Phyna said: “I want to marry a lively person like me, someone that you wouldn’t easily know that we are hvsband and wife. I want to marry someone that is my spec, someone that we are alike. All those dem Shallipopi vibe.”

Before, I really wanted a quiet man but I don change my mind, I no want. Make I just marry man wey dey like me so that if e set, nobody dey hold anybody.”

The brand influencer went on to say that she would rather marry a Yoruba or Edo man and that she is unable to marry an Igbo man as “their family are too involved in their business.”

Reality TV star Tacha used social media to stand up for her colleague Phyna after well-known Nigerian musician Davido questioned Phyna’s identity.

When Davido liked a tweet earlier today that called Phyna’s fan base useless, it caused a stir among internet users.

As Phyna reacted to this, she asked the singer what he had done wrong and called out the singer for defaming her and her fan base.

Phyna wrote; “Wetin I do @davido 😩 Na wah oh, The hate is real….., Congratulations on your twins sha✌️.”

Responding, Davido apologizes to Phyna as he disclosed that he doesn’t know who she is while adding that it was an honest mistake.

Davido wrote; “Thank you love ❤️ but I actually don’t know who you are .. and it was an honest mistake .. no vex .”

Many people, including Tacha, were offended by Davido’s remark and went on to support Phyna after Davido claimed he didn’t know her.

While defending the winner of BBNaija 2022, Phyna, Tacha remarked that, in contrast to Davido, who asserts that he doesn’t know Phyna, she and many other people on the planet are familiar with Phyna.

Phyna, the Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, has explained why her relationship with colleague Groovy ended.

She stated in an interview with Joy Prime that while the affection she felt for him was genuine, it all vanished when she realized he wasn’t.

Phyna claimed she played it smart rather than calling it quits on their romance after she learned he had feelings for other women who were in the BBNaija house with them.

She said that a household member forced her to realize clearly that her feelings for Groovy were not shared.

The Edo-born reality personality claims that she overheard someone urging Groovy to remain with her because they thought she was strong and had a loyal fanbase that’ll always vote to save her.

Phyna added that while she prolonged the game for the benefit of the show, she was already aware that they would not remain together after the show ends.
